oh yes pal. it depends on what kind of kerala cuisine you are interested in. there are a couple of books that do a great job of covering some of it. there is still the entire malabar muslim cuisine that goes without any serious documenting, and that is huge. :\

I can’t for the life of me remember this one breakfast dish we had. It looked sort of like idli, but I thought the cook called it PO - does that sound at all familiar?
Unfortunately I don't have recipes on my blog :P I do write about food but I absolutely dislike cooking! lol
I'll start posting recipe's once I HAVE to cook - which is in around a month. Sigh!
You should be able to find yummy desi recipe's with tofu though.
Some suggestions: You can do Tofu Tikka Masala, Tofu skewers, Palak Paneer, Mughali Tofu... the options are endless :)
Nope, nothing religious for me... I don't make it Haraam on myself so I do eat salan if there is meat in it. Sooo if there's Aloo Gosh, I'll eat aloo. Or Biryani, I'll eat rice. I've never liked the taste - even as a kid. As I grew older, I started getting grossed out/disliking it and since I had more control over what I ate, I gradually disliked it so much that I stopped eating it altogether

Dunno what country you’re in but here in the US there are lots of meat “substitutes” available that are totally vegetarian.. like burger patties, “chicken nuggets”, etc…there’s even “ground beef” sub that can be used in any recipe that calls for keema. I’m not sure how they taste, I just bought one of them…will let u know how it turns out when I make it.

^ This. Don't like the smell, taste, feel, sight of it.
Quorn has egg white in it so not sticktly vegetarian so I dont eat quorn products much. The other supermarket brand meat-free products are vegi only soya bean based products and are tastier. (tesco/asda/sainsbury)
Protein sources in my diet are: beans (red kidney, butter, black eye, Flageolet Beans, Adzuki), lentils (all daal), peas, chickpeas, quinoa, soya mince, cheese.
