if you can do pink and silver, then a grey suit would be perfect! if your outfit is mostly gold and pink, then i think it might look odd, and i'd go with a lighter colour like khaki or tan. but thats just me :)
i think since valima decor and colours tend to be lighter and softer than typical shaadi colours, a lighter suit for the groom works well.

Exactly my thoughts! This is the reason I love your take on everything as I mentioned before. My problem is that I just can't decide what I want (I'm greedy like that).
