Mid thirties would be kind of old and not really. It depends on WHO is looking to marry. If the girl is in her late 20's then definitely the guy isn't too old. If the girl was in her early twenties then perhaps she might feel he is too old. lol You see how perspective could change?
In regards to the children, nah, a lot of people are getting married late now a days and have children late too. I think having children in your 40's is old.. thirties is still the norm....but that's just me.
I'm 29, my ideal age to get married is 35 - preferably to a woman who is at most 3 years younger then me (ideally a year or so younger would be awesome). What I don't want is someone greater then 3 years younger then me - that's some crazy shyte right there.
35 years old wanting to marry 18 or 19 or early 20s..just..doesn't sit with me. But no it's not old if someone wants to get married. That is..if you're seemingly closer age.
My dad was around 35 when my Mum had me and he doesn't look like my grandad lol
I like that they waited.. My brother married at 26ish (now divorced) but most of the guys we know nowadays don't marry till they've hit 30 and a couple of years after that is not considered a huge deal.. usually there isn't much of an age gap either..
In my family 35 is old. Its actually a phrase that goes around in my family that after 30 you become an 'uncle' and you should t be hitched by then. Most of the guys in our family were married by late 20s. But there are always exceptions, some married as late as 40. Girls usually get married by 27 or so
But in grand scheme of things. 35 is not old. But its not young either.
