this is really too much175 $ for an embroidery dress... raw silk is no doubt an xpensive fabric but the kaam on it; emboidery is not that expensive may be the designer who designed is charging u her cost of production...if u really like embroidery dresses just lemme know i'll designed it for u coz i'm doing the same work as others...in 80$ u'll get a quality dress for sure...
I tried bargaining with her. This person is based in Karachi. She kept saying $150 is the cost for a plain raw silk suit and she would make it just like the picture for $175.
I ordered some kurtis and a couple suits and asked for a larger discount and she says that with the increased costs of business in Pakistan, she is getting about half profit of what she used to.
I have used her in the past and her stitching and quality is very good. No problems there. I know there are cheaper people out there, but I am afraid to deal with a stranger. There has got to be a difference in material, kaam quality, etc. inn $175 vs. $80.
I will definitely share the results on this board when I receive the suit.

even the best quality plain raw silk suit costs nowhere near $150! that's an absolute lie! but since you're satisfied with what she's able to produce so it's fine i guess. you can afford it so why not? i love the color combination, though. i'd love to see what it'll look like. good luck!
