Lovely album, though it does not reach the heights 7th Son did.
How did you like it?
Songs to look out for: (IMHO)
Paschendale, Wildest Dreams and Montsegur.
Any IM fans here?
ps: can any brit guppie tell which Brit metal bands are the ones that the world should look out for tomorrow?

Iron Maiden are still one of my favorite bands. Dance of Death is a good album, especially the songs you mentioned above, but in my opinion not comparable to the strong Brave New World album.
I just saw them a few months ago, although the sound was horrible, the show was typical Maiden, and nothing less.
Yes, Brave New World rocked too! Coz old spandes Bruce was back with his screeching! (gotta luv him)
Dude, you're lucky! One day, I hope too see IM in concert too.
Hopefully those old buggers won't die out by then. :P
BTW, does Iggy Pop still play? He was big in the early 90s iirc.
And, which brit metal bands are rockin right now?
Up da ironz,

Yeah, I was fortunate to have seen them about 7 times. They'll be here again soon. Not sure about Iggy Pop, but he was bigger in the 70's than he was in 90's.
Speaking of British Metal, Judas Priest is back together with Rob Halford for a new album and tour. Can't wait for that.
