I think its a plead bargain. I read earlier that Irfan didnt even request for reconsideration and thats because he was told to pick either a lifetime ban and appeal or a year ban with no appeal. He picked the later as he may be sighting a comeback. But I doubt if he’ll be in shape to be back.
