Hows your experience about Irfan Ahson? Can anybody share his work?

He's actually a member here. I personally love his work and photojournalistic approach. It's not intrusive and contemporary. Def. my #1 choice for when I get married. I also like that he's Lahore-based which is where my wedding will be so that's a plus. He has a page on Facebook.

i ABSOLUTELY LOVE his work...but too expensive and I can't justify spending that much :( nor would be allowed to. sigh sorry I know you wanted people to share experiences so this doesn't answer your question but I am sure he would do a phenomenal job!

last time i checked they were 50 grand for a signature shot per day ... he def. said that he will be increasing his prices in all due time !

His photos are great undoubtedly but not something I'd spend that much of a fortune on!

I would love to hire his services for my wedding but it would be a difficult task to select between him and Afzl because we have known afzl for years now and are very comfortable with him plus his work is very nice too.

If you are talking abt Afzl on MMALAM road, then Khuda ka khauf karo. These people looted me out of 1 LAKH rupees, lost my pictures (o our harddrive died), didnt give me any worthwhile pictures at all (sorry we cant refund why dont you get married again? we will shoot that). They are absolute **** people and I cannot ever express how much I hate them and wish their studio burns down.

Non professional cheap loge hen.

aww I love you guys. It was SO bad khatti! You know my inlaws kept asking me “beta when are the pictures coming” and for TWO MONTHS I kept telling my inlaws they are coming in two days cos everytime I would call and ask AFZL people when they are coming and AFZL people would swear on their mother,father, brother, nani, ALLAH anyone that “we SWEAR they are coming in two days” and then two MONTHS later they FINALLY CONFESSED :

Our harddrives have crashed there are no pictures, why dont you get married again and we will cover the photoshoot then

NEVER go for them girl. Tell everyone you know. They will see you upfront and promise you all sorts of great things. Then on the day of your function they will send their driver or someone equally non professional to shoot it, then you are too frazzled to do anything about it and they don't know jack**** about editing pictures nor do they care. All they care about is getting money in hand and blowing off the client then.

ONCE upon a time they used to be good (which is why I went to them cos of a friend who married six years ago and got a shoot from them) NOW they have NO studio, its in the process of being made and also AFZL is busy having an affair with some woman he brings to the studio (I saw them sneaking up to the backroom together when I was there demanding to get my album) and since they have the "name" they dont need to bother pleasing their clients.

I would recommend you go for** 7thsens**. They are up and coming and Im using them for my own wedding and Ive recommended them for another friend. Ill get back to you soon as I get her pictures cos she's getting married in around 14 days. then you can judge for yourself ok?

Yes I wish he was more flexible about his rates and would realise that yes though it is a business for him, it is a special day for us too and there is a lot of burden of finances already. Shooting for three days should not be 1.5 lakh please! and this is beyond the event coverage and video. I dont think he covers video. His work is great undoubtedly, but it's just sad how he has placed himself completely out of reach for all of us.

I am a firm believer of what goes around and comes around. This khabees Afzl dude will get it sooner or later, if not in this lifetime, then in aakhirat I’m sure.

Well its really sad that it happened with you but overall i haven’t heard of such unethical behavior by them! We have had all our family weddings and other functions covered by them and the end result have always been fab! :k: As for 1 lakh, i don’t think its alot considering what the general rates are plus i believe you get your money worth of services.

However yes it was really unethical of them if they never refunded the amount even after loosing out on the data. Maybe you should have talked to the owner about this, he is a very nice guy!

LOL! I just read the above comments about Afzl, first dem i find it very hard to believe it....not saying that you are lying but it could be a misunderstanding. Khair who knows we can't say for sure if he is really like that or not but yah we recently got photoshoots done by him and his work was again superb. Infact while i was at the studio, i went through his recent work and it was exceptional hence i would definately recommend him to everyone along with irfan who i also think is superb.

I went to Afzl for my wedding shoot as well. and i had a great experience. The work was great and i would 100% recd. them to other. I didn't get a CD of my work or i would have shared some pictures with u guys.
