Respond angrily to each of your posts? I'm just responding to posts within the thread that I started. Nothing personal... I have lurked here for weeks and I have a pretty good understanding of the folks on the forum. I normally like to get a feel for the crowd before I start posting. :-)

I know there's a large Anti-American sentiment here. I also know that most of this sentiment is baseless.

How many have died thanks to Saddam?

Iraqis are cheering Americans, but people like you are full of hatred for Iraqis. If it was up to you, you would rather see 1 million Iraqis dies under Saddam then one Iraqi give his life for freedom of his country. Grow up.

Good point Imdad. That's the same way I feel.

Everyone should take a break from their Anti-American rhetoric and listen to the voices of the Iraqis who are celebrating their newfound freedom. It's an amazing thing. This is a great day and the start of a new furture for the Iraqi people.

and there are millions who curse him aswell

yes a great day indeed but it won't last long. american are there to ruin it :-)

apparently they are not in iraq / USA :-)
Saddam kill his own people or US kill the Iraqis, what is the difference.
Um, about a million people, give or take? At this rate of killing, the US could continue the war for another seven years and still not have accidentally killed as many civilians as Saddam deliberately did.

Bush should just f**k off muslim terrority.

Oh, you make me so optimistic about humanity!

I thought comments had to contribute something rather than just empty comments slamming entire nations.

They are Iraqi Americans, and just like Iraqis back home, they are happy. While people like you are sad.

Iraqis are celebrating their freedom.

i'm sad because i know these poor iraqis don't know this liberation-BS is only a trick. real hardships are on their way for them.
:-)

Did they run complete tests on the flowers for chemicals (anthrax, nerve gas etc) before accepting/smelling them? Becasue you never know, those damn iraqis.

Too long to post in its entirety, so just posting the link.
