Five American Marines have been killed in a roadside blast in western Iraq, US officials say.

The attack came hours after reports that 17 bodies had been found bound and killed execution-style in the same restive province, Anbar.

The US troops killed in the bomb were involved in combat operations in Haqlaniya town, said the US military.

The discovery of 17 bodies, found in two separate groups, was made near the desert town of Qaim, also in Anbar.

Officials said 22 Iraqi soldiers were kidnapped in the area on Wednesday. It is not clear if the bodies are of some of the troops.

Oh well occupy land pay the price yanks!

how come your research is not up to scratch i know you guys have short memories but come on now only few months ago you where saying only shia are fighting the US occupiers now you using reverse argument and saying its only sunnis make up your mind!

Hmm… Based upon the relative worth of Muslim blood vis a vis American blood, the death of 5 US Marines means your heroes must have also killed about 87 1/2 Muslim Iraqis today as well. Yep, sure enough, there were murders in Kirkuk and Basra and some shootings of worshippers coming out of Friday prayers at a Shi’ite mosque in Baghdad to go along with the 17 found in a couple mass graves. Oh yeah, there’s probably some dead kids in one or two marketplaces that we haven’t heard about yet. :clap:

its sunnis on even dates and shias on odd dates. on feb 29th they take a day off.
