** DUBAI (Reuters) - Militants in Iraq have killed two Pakistani hostages and have released an Iraqi, Al Jazeera television said Wednesday.
Al Jazeera said it had received a video tape showing the killings but it would not air it as it was too gruesome.
The kidnappers had vowed in a videotape shown on Al Jazeera Monday that they would kill the Pakistanis and threatened to do the same to the Iraqi if their employer did not halt operations in Iraq.
Given the type of thing that has been shown so far, it really takes some thought to conceiving of something that is ** “too gruesome” ** to show. Who’s next? So very sad.
yet more innocent ppl die due to the barbaric actions of the idiots. When exactly will "some" people begin to see these people as the murderers they are is as much of a question as it was when the same set of idiots and/or their like minded extremist brethren butchered ppl in NYC, Turkey, Karachi, Riyadh, Spain etc.
We can not afford to give any sort of benefit of doubt to barbarians like these. We all should oppose them in every which way..and not fall for their rhetoric of some higher purpose, and prevent others from falling for it, and pull back those who have already fallen for it. That is the only way the influence of such idiot can be contained and stop corrupting the minds of others.
Be it India, Pakistan, CHina, Philippines, russia, Spain, NY, Bali...every people have been terrorized by this scourge of islamic fundamentalism. Time to call a spade a spade.

Very well said. Seems to me the lunatics have made a very poor decision by extending the inclusiveness of those they are making victims. It's a lot easier for people to trivialize or legitimize or excuse barbaric conduct when it only happens to someone with whom they have no affinity. Sort of like "Oh well. It's only happening to those guys over there and they're probably somehow to blame for being the victim."
It's now abundantly clear that anyone and everyone regardless of nationality or religion is viewed as a legitimate target of these barbarians. Everyone is in the same boat which makes it less easy to just let this conduct slide.
They are and always have been lunatics but they had a cover story that resonated with many. They're blowing their cover story. Maybe we are seeing the beginning of their end. So sad that so many victims were required before their true nature has been exposed to all/most.
EDIT: Also, I can't help but think that the actions occuring in Spain and the reaction of the Philipines has been viewed as capitulation to the terror tactics by these idiots. That has, IMO, been the root cause of the terrorists expanding their base of victims.

A pair of Pakistani workers are killed who were helping with the rebuilding of Iraq and all ak can do is blame the Americans. Ak enough with the BS, these deaths do not help further the rebuilding of Iraq thus it hurts America and its efforts so there is no reason for you to be upset, this was another victory for you and those who think like you
So Al-jazeera does have double standards. "Too Gruesome" to show. Any beheading is gruesome, be it Muslim or non-muslim. They didn't hesitate to air the korean or the american beheading. I guess Al-Jazeera doesn't want their ratings to drop in the "UMMAH" (What a concept!!!)

This is sad and disheartening... hope this barbaric episode will create more hatred against such acts and people/groups who commit these crimes against humanity and it is a wake-up call to those who support it... hatred does not have to translate into violence…
