Maybe Cronkite thinks Pakistan and India are dumb enough to nuke each other.
indians and pakistanis may talk junk but in realilty they are rational
people. even during the previous wars both did not bomb civilian populations.
If cronkite is that dumb lets nuke him. This story isnt even worth the paper it is printed on.
Despite the ramblings of both sides, there seems to be a general feeling of good will between the populations at large towards each other, and hopefully that can be channelled to help achieve a peace.

It is a shame there is no goodwill from the Muslim Burning Hindus towards their own Muslim population. With over two thousand Muslims burnt to death and over a hundred thousand Muslims being forced to live in refugee camps. Have the perpetrators of this heinous crime against the Muslims brought to justice yet? Apparently not. Their leaders are still running the country.
