My original post was about how the American press reports deaths in a war. If somebody can prove otherwise, the American press reports American casualties of war diferrently than other nations (I am talking about civilians here).
American civilians are never reported as collatoral damage. If in war (Bush calls this a war) civilian deaths are collatoral damage then why aren't WTC deaths collatoral damage. Why only Iraqi's, Afghans (Muslims) have the honor of being called collatoral damage.

What did the poor women and children of Iraq and Afghanistan do to the USA? Respect for the dead should be equal. Every life is precious and should be protected. The American press and Army should take a good look at itself. They are a shade or two away from the terrorists themselves.
Yes, US went there to "PREVENT" terrorism so that no more 3000 US civlians die, but its okay if 6000+ Iraqis died in achieving (which is a lie in first place) and not to forget thousands of Afghanis they were the "COLLATERALs".

Exactly. Just as the attacks that left some 3000 civilians dead (or missing) in the USA was terrorism, so were the attacks that have so far killed 6000 Iraqi civilians.
