Iran's Nuclear Program and Its Possible Consequences

As most of us know that Iran has resumed its nuclear program once again despite the stern warnings from USA. Now here is the latest scenario. EU who was more diplomatic in resolving Iran’s nuclear crisis, now, seems to be shifting its position more aligned with the Washington’s hardcore stand on this particular issue. On the other hand Iran seems defiant about its nuclear program. Iran has also clearly declared that it is not committed to any agreement with Britain, Germany and France on not building centrifuges. In other words, Iran has decided to alienate EU who was always softer towards Iran as compared to USA.
My questions for Guppies are:
What exactly Iran is trying to achieve by resuming its nuclear program once again?

Do you guys think that USA will attack Iran if Iran chooses not to abandon its nuclear program?

Gievn the fact that the world right now is pretty sensitive about the nuclear weapons, don’t you guys think that Iranian government’s current move of re-starting its nuclear program is little too premature?

Muslim world is already in a turmoil and what are the possible consequences of Iran’s latest stand on its nuclear program?

Any thoughts….

Israel will take care of this after the election in Nov. Israel’s ability to hit Iran’s nuclear facilities has always been the iron fist in the EU’s velvet glove. With the successful tests of the arrow anti-missle system, Isreal may seize the upper hand as they did with Iraq.

“Iran is developing more sophisticated missiles with a longer range and we will make sure that, when they become operational, we have an adequate answer for them,” he told army radio.

Israel’s intelligence services told the country’s security cabinet last week that Iran would produce nuclear weapons by 2007, public radio reported.

In November 2003, Israel’s Mossad overseas intelligence service had already raised the alarm, telling a parliamentary commission that Iran’s nuclear program, combined with its long-range Shahab-3 missiles, constituted the “greatest threat to Israel’s existence since it was created,” in 1948.

In an editorial called: “From defense to deterrence,” Yediot hailed Thursday’s successful test-firing, writing that "this makes the Arrow a defense system as well as a deterrent system of the first order.

“All Arab rulers received a clear message yesterday - if they try to launch ballistic missiles at Tel Aviv, they will be stopped by the Arrow, and then Israel can respond with all the measures it has at its disposal.”

in my opinion i think that iran may be doing this to gain power in the eyes of the world, and to establish a more secure nation. just before the overthrow of the sha in iran the sha sent many aircraft and other military things to saudi and egypt and they refuse to return them.

as for the consenquences every one knows somethigs gonna happen. the us already has its eyes on iran. and heck if the us goes to war with iran then im gonna go fight against the us because they r out of control

iran should again more atomic power to destruct and kll each and every isreali

Iran is a nuclear power its not a question of IF but WHEN.... The only question is who would be running the show in Teheran when it becomes one.

Welcome to the new world order... Teheran wows to defeat terrorist and terrorism at all cost, where there is a will there is a way.
