Iranian President

Re: Iranian President

together with that, it is biased capitalists and their self inflecited paranoia.
to be honest, if at an education institute of such proclaimed merit, the provost can act so ignobly, with a president of another country.

this is very unbecoming of a university’s executive admin, esp one who is being shown the rattle of this country’s might, one can be sure that to gain a positive support a very high expectation.

what is witnessed is that the shock over some other country’s president to be stable than one’s own appears to be almost like saying that there can be no other country or nation or its presidency which can do better than the govt of the mighty country led by its monopolistic and cruel govt. which is condemned by its own actions, time and again in the recent history of its political fiascos.
it will be a sight to see what else this govt. will do to up lift its lowly self.

Re: Iranian President

Out of 56 islamic countries..if any islamic country has a MAN leader ..then he is Amedi Nijaad...

rest all are not men..fond of eating dhaniya...used to wear chooria....and and and...etc etc....

one example is our greatest leader...General Musharraf...the sipah salar-e-azam of ummah..whose pants start wetting on hearing phone calls...which are directed from US...i dont know the reasons....:)

A man who can dare to spaek aganist Israeli evel rather satanic ..is more apropriate word..policies....and US evil policies..no doubt he is a great and brave man...as he is elected leader..rest all are either dictators...or royal puppets...licking US feet...

Re: Iranian President

no doubt iran has theocracy..but still its brave leader is far far beter than our great "democrartic " leader...Musharraf !!!!

Re: Iranian President

tell me about you something..which country from which you belong..are you muslim...or not ?

Re: Iranian President

Ah yes, great noble bollinger defies petty dictator like he should.

In contrast, earlier yesterday President Bollinger introduced the President of Turkmenistan, also an autocrat with a dismal human rights record (see one of the worst ever in central asia), with a tone of cordiality expected in a forum with a head of state. Why the difference between the two?

why then do you think mr bolinger acted the way he did. could it be because..

  1. of the massive media attention present at the second forum inspired Bollinger's belligerence?
  2. in the end, Bollinger cowed to the very political pressure he has claimed all week that he was defending free speech against?
  3. of the fact that Columbia with the help of exxonmobile, was able to invest 3 million in turkmenistan, with the blessing of the current turkmen president. Plus last year bolinger not only invited but defended hand in hand the stance of the leader of minutemen. A pretty wacky organization with beliefs ranging from shooting people who cross the border illegally to expelling all immigrants with even a parking ticket problem.

It is also curious to note that a talk by a real nut, and a worse dictator did not meet Bollinger's standards of discourse, but somehow it did for ahmedinajad.

Re: Iranian President

Pakistani, and yes I'm Muslim.

Why don't you go see how Sunnis live in Iran under Ahmadinejad before blindly supporting him?

Why don't you go see who is funding the Mahdi Army for which they are evicting Sunnis from their homes in Baghdad and Basra?

Re: Iranian President

i am strict opponet of shiaism ..but not shias..and i think politically we should be one..similarly..al qaeda mads are blowing up innocents civilians from shia sect....

So you're telling me that you're going to tolerate the cursing of the Sahabas by Shi'as?

As much as I like to believe of unity, it's a farce. It's not going to happen, period.

Re: Iranian President

Bullehshah..not to indulge in shia sunni debate ..at this critical moment..on ummah....i already fed up with all such debates ..on GS..

Re: Iranian President

How about debating it on UmmahForums?

Re: Iranian President

Bullehshah ....i strongly belive that....

  • shia sunni divison was just political rivalries of Ummayaads and Hasmies...
  • Ibne Saba..a jew..used it extensively to divide ummah....
  • concepts of immat...wilayat..and wisayat were given by him...not Ali(ra) at any stage...
  • there can be difference on pow ..that whether ali or abu bakr or umar be the first caliph..who is most piousest and greatest....it will not change your imaan at all....but cursing is a bad thing...to anyone...even to shia scholars ..i think..we should not curse anyone....Prophet(pbuh) disliked cursing...momin is not supposed to give too many curse as in hadees...

  • plus..Zaidi shias are very moderate in aqaid and other things...they dont curse...here on GS ..many of my very good friends..girls..and boys..are shias..but they show respect towarsds 2 caliphs..never curse them....so i have no problem with them at all....

  • some are more islamic than sinner like me..read more quran...give quranic surahs threads in religion forum...so ..i think..they are far better than me..or any sunni ..who have not such a devoting muslim....

  • there are many misconception between the 2 sects...by discussuon we can decase them..for example..Shias muslims thought that sunnis dont love ali(ra)..wahabis disrespect him a bit...so i once started a thread about ali(ra)...and his merits and virtues to lessen this false misconception...
