Re: Iran
My father lived in Iran for few years and I grasp a positive image of Iran and Iranian people from what he told us. I plan to go there too as part of my studies.
Re: Iran
This is a useful link for people in UK planning their visit.
Re: Iran
^link?
Re: Iran
^I lost it. Btw, my father came back after the Islamic Revolution so I'm not sure if Iranians are still the same, but our neighbours were Iranian and I must say the sweetest of people they are and they're still in contact with us.
I'll post the links when I find them. If you're looking for applying for a visa then British Home Office's website is quite informative, also you can contact the Iranian embassy in London.
Re: Iran
I have pictures from when we visited Iran...it's really a beautiful place, especially the northern areas and all the people we came across (bar one moron) were lovely, really friendly and welcoming.
I'll see if i can find those pics and when i do, i'll upload some.
Re: Iran
How welcoming are they to Sunni Muslims? How hard is it to find a sunni mosque? Would love to visit Tehran.
Anyone shed light on this?
Re: Iran
Iran is da Bomb.
If you're making a trip to Iran, make sure you go to the island of Kish.
It's one place you won't want to miss :D
