Seems like the Bush regime has given the go-ahead to bomb Iran later this year.
Also, as many have been saying (in Europe at least), it seems the Iraqi election results were cooked.
Remember Scott Ritter was the guy who all along said that Iraq NO LONGER had any WMD, long before the US regimes aggression against the country.
So now who do you believe - someone who told the truth, while the Bushmen were knowingly lying to the world, or the Bushmen?

Bush just made his apologies in Europe. There's no way he's going to attack anyother country and jeoprdize the new found friendship with Schroedder. If you think EU traded with Iraq, wait till you read extent of trade with Iran. Just saw the prez of a multinational chopper builder (who has the contract to build AF1 choppers for Bush!) also defend why it's ok for his EU units to do business with Iran.
The only scenario underwhich Iran attach can happen is if they attack, which is not likely
Now I want to know what military genius is telling Scott Ritter the exact month that Iran will be struck. So do you think that some General is still buddies with Scott and zaps him emails from time to time? Somebody hanging with Scott, having a beer, and jeopardizing his security clearance? Scott has to keep that campus tour money rolling in......
If anyone strikes Iran it will be Israel, and no one will know until the planes are back on the ground. The Israelis are not likely to be asking Scott to stop by for Passover supper either. He can only guess when the reactor will be almost complete and figure it gets popped before the fuel rods are loaded. Which means he is guessing like the rest of us.....

Isnt this the same argument we hear every time such a high profile news makes headlines? The reporter is always scorned at…only to have the pentagon or the white house cook up some fancy words later on, to ‘restate’ the same fact in a different way, without ‘acknowledging’ it. Remember Seymour Hersh? And as for Scott Ritter, he has been correct on all his assertions so far. If he had had a history of baseless accusations against the US govt in the past, one could scoff at him. But hes been credible in his reports to date. The sex charges against him have nothing to do with these realities, just like G. bush’s past life as a drunkard have nothing to do with his current post (apart from clouding his judgement, and takin away the ability to pronounce nuclear properly)

Perhaps you do not remember the history of the inspections. The inspectors were on the verge of declaring Saddam "clean" when Saddams' son-in-law defected and ratted out the entire nuclear and biological capabilities that the UN knew nothing about. Ritter was right recently, but he could have just as well been wrong, as the inspectors missed entire huge programs before.
All Ritter has is 5 year old knowledge, and a criminal conviction. He is a favorite of the Left because he says what you want to hear.
Let's not forget that Iran has a deceptive history too with inspectors. About half of what the inspectors know is based on reports from defectors and western intelligence. I am all for taking out the reactor, and whatever can be hit on the rest of the nuclear programs. I trust the Mullahs about as far as I can throw them.

Where is all that nuclear and bio stuff then? After Scott Ritter, other UN teams scoured Iraq will full access, only to find nothing. The US then went on to attack the country and turn it upside down, only to find nothing. Now they are after Iran, regarding which the UN has clearly said that there is no evidence whatsoever that Iran is developing any kind of nuclear weapons, (even though it has a right to do so as a deterrent, since its arch foes(US and Israel) have them.
And I dont entirely disagree with dismantling (even destroying) Irans nuclear capabilities, if they are found to be weapons based in nature, but only so long as the same is done with Israel simultaneously. Irans program is 'suspected'. Israels program is proven. It has to be destroyed first. If not, it shouldnt surprise anyone that Iran would want to develop a deterrent against that.
