did india and iran reach stretegic co-operation in miltary matters?

Why is Iran doing this? Don't they care about Kashmir? Khatami has been prancing around Delhi like they are best friends. I don't get it.
I think Khatami doesn't matter all that much as he used to be. however it is possible he is doing this in order to bolster his waning credibility in Iran.
Iran-India.....who cares.
Pakistan is hardly the regional top dog as to stop Iran doing as it wishes.

Khatami was chief guest at Indias Republic day parade on Jan 26th which is the highest honor Indian govt gives to any foreign head of state. The friendship is mainly due to both were aligned with former USSR. Both actively supported N.A against Taleban (which of course was supported by Pakistan). Moreover Iran wants to sell its gas to India. So we share mutually beneficial friendship. If you dont know there are thousands of Iranian youngsters studying in professioanl colleges in India. They are very descent and so far never involved in any terrorist activities.
