JEDDAH: The Iranian Embassy in Riyadh was involved in a plot to recruit 200 dissidents in the Kingdom to launch operations that would undermine the country’s security, including spying for Tehran.
This was one of the main charges announced by the state prosecution recently in the case involving two defendants who had been arrested for being part of a spy cell operating in the Kingdom on behalf of Iran.
Defendant No. 21 was accused of using his house as a base to hold meetings with three Iranian intelligence agents working at the Iranian Embassy in Riyadh, and supplying them with top secret intelligence reports and information on the Kingdom in exchange for money.
The defendant is also charged with providing Iranian intelligence operatives with an electronic device or computer used for espionage, and traveling to Turkey to meet with several others where he provided them with security information related to the Kingdom.
The prosecution also alleged that the defendant provided Iranian intelligence with reports on some public and private cases in the Kingdom, information on university students and unrest in one of the provinces. He also allowed an Iranian intelligence official to copy several pieces of vital information from his computer.
The defendant is accused of providing Tehran the names of 200 terrorists who turned against their country to support Iran, economic reports about the Kingdom and the names of Shiite families living here.
Defendant No. 22, a bank official, has been accused of discussing a request from Iranian intelligence agents to link them with Shiite investors, to encourage them to invest in Iran and support the country’s objectives in the Kingdom.
He also allegedly discussed the situation in the Eastern Province and the region with Iranian intelligence officers, and met them in his home several times. Meanwhile, a judge at the criminal court in Riyadh has accused a lawyer working for some suspects of seeking to delay court procedures by making repeated requests to see his clients.
The judge said that it appeared the lawyer was trying to create a show for the media. He said the rules allowed ample time for lawyers to consult with their clients, within the constraints of security regulations.

This most deadliest plot would still be very lesser as against the plots designed for in the last 35 years - killing over a million shias.

Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
It so seems that The Persians have held a deep grudge against the Arab desert tribesmen for defeating the Great Persian Army at the battle of Al Qadisiyyah in yr 636. could be one reason why the Ayatollahs of todays Iran want to avenge that defeat...........that seems to be the only reason for the deep hatred between the Farsi and the Arab because both peoples are now followers of one Prophet of Allah! so religious animosity can not be the reason for hatred!
Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
That doesn't make sense because 'THE PERSIANS' seem to have or seek good relations with other arab countries in its neighbourhood. Where as THE ARABs specifically in the gulf area see THE PERSIAN hand in everything... I.e. yemen bahrain qatif and then use that as an excuse to torture n crucify old men and kids etc. Those arabs also have good kinship with israel..
As for the OP...The lawyer in the article has a cheek wanting to meet his client repeatedly. What a drama queen wanting so much media attention..who the hell does HE think he is?
Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
Ok.yo..i seriously do not understand this hate between two sects. I do know what shiasm and sunnism is to the core. So my thinking is that..why not just agree to disagree and live their lives. Disagreements will always be there..but...my problem is...insaaniyat khatam ho gayee es say. Live and let live!!

We are still living in the age where superiority meant who had the larger army and better swords.
We have yet to realize that today economics plays a larger role and nations which are militarily weak but economically strong have greater say in the world stage than the nations which are militarily strong but economically weak.
We keep on buying weapons and killing each other while the weapon manufacturers keep inciting us.

It seems plot is very deadly … especially for KSA ![]()
News is that … KSA is loosing land to rag-tag army of Yemen and Houthi tribe in KSA provinces of Jizan and Najran … in both provinces, Yemeni army and Houthi tribes have entered and captured several villages and army camps around 10 KM deep inside KSA.
In province of Najran, they are at the gate of city Najran (capital of Najran province) located 10 KM north of Yemeni border.
Latest News from war front in Saudi north of Yemeni border:

Saudi Army evacuates villages amid Houthi gains in Jizan:**
The Saudi Army has begun to evacuate several villages inside the Jizan Region of Saudi Arabia after the Houthi forces and Yemeni Republican Guard advanced nearly 10 km north of the border.
According to the Yemen-based “Khabar News Agency,” several pictures were taken of Saudi military personnel evacuating their countrymen from the targeted villages in the Jizan.
The news agency added that the Saudi Army’s High Command prohibited any households from remaining inside these villages; if they do, the regime will view them as traitors .
Recently, several Saudi civilians living in the southern part of the country have withdrawn their support for the Al-Saud regime in favor of the Houthi Movement.
Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
I have feeling that Prince Salman visit to Pakistan was to ask for help, what obviously Pakistan cannot afford. Anyhow, situation is that, Yemeni armed forces along with Houthi tribes are advancing in three provinces of KSA, that is province of Asir, Najran and Jizan. Along their advance, they have captured many KSA weapons and killed many KSA soldiers.
From the news below, it seems they are on route to advance and occupy city of Abha, Capital of Asir province, around 100 KM from Yemeni border. Time will tell if they would succeed or not, but the way KSA forces are melting in front of Houthis, this is possible.
https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/breaking-yemeni-army-promises-expand-operations-saudi-arabia/
The Yemeni Army announced that they intend to expand their military operations beyond the Saudi border after weeks of fighting the Saudi-led Coalition in the Jizan, Asir, and Najran regions.
According to Yemen-based Khabar News Agency, the Yemeni Minister of Defense General Sharif Luqman promised to expand military operations in Saudi Arabia because of the ruthless airstrikes conducted by the latter’s air force all over Yemen.
The Yemeni Army and Houthi forces have already seized a large chunk of territory in southern Saudi Arabia, while also expelling the pr-regime loyalists from the Yemeni capital.
General Luqman did not indicate how far he is willing to send his forces in Saudi Arabia, but given their current status, they could push as far north as Abha
Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
Worrying news is that, Yemeni missiles are now hitting 700 KM deep into KSA. Ta’if is a famous city near Mecca.
It shows, how when a country starts interfering into neighbours internal affairs and start bombing and killing innocent civilians of neighbour, than time comes when neighbour also starts hitting back, and that is happening in the region.
Same is true about Pakistan interference in Afghanistan affairs, that caused all sorts of violence in Pakistan.
https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/yemeni-army-missile-strikes-700km-deep-saudi-arabia/
Sana’a, Yemen (5:04 A.M.) – A SCUD missile fired by the Yemeni Republican Guard reportedly struck the Saudi city of Ta’if that is located approximately 700 km deep into the oil-dependent nation.
This military development is of massive significance because it implies that the Saudi capital of Riyadh is within the range of the Yemeni ballistic missiles, and may therefore change the trajectory of the Yemeni conflict further to the side of the Sana’a-based elected government of Yemen.
Al-Masira News Channel and official military sources have yet to confirm news of this rocket attack.
Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
what's to thinking these attackers will not go towards harming the holy cities? Are these stupid yemenis that retarded that they're going to kill their own brothers (muslims) and make KSA unsafe?
Is the talk about hajj suspension starting to come true if this conflict keeps growing?
Whether we like it or not, Pakistan(militarily) will have to interfere or get involved to safeguard Mecca/Madina from these retards

Holy cities of Mecca and Madina do not belong to King Saud or his family. They joined British, fought against Ottoman empire and killed millions of Muslims to capture these two holy cities, and that also not too long ago.
Saudi family also captured Province of Najran, Jizan and Asir from Yemen, than annexed them with Saudi kingdom even though most people living in these provinces are Yemenis. Yemen still consider them part of Yemen.
If Saudis are bombing Yemen and killing thousands of Yemenis, then only stupid would expect that Yemen would not do anything if they can. I think Yemen have every right to attack KSA and that would be considered as attack in self defense, not attack as aggressor, because KSA has already attacked Yemen and is aggressor.
What it has to do with Pakistan that Pakistan should send their forces to save aggressor and die for aggressor? Will KSA or any Arab country would send their forces to fight Indian, if India attacks Pakistan?
Regardless, such act would not only going to destabilize Pakistan, but could even disintegrate Pakistan. So, best for Pakistan would be to 'watch and see the events from far', what I believe Pakistanis are doing.
Even though, it is wrong that Muslims are fighting and killing each other, only sensible option for Pakistan is that, we keep quite regardless of who gets upper hand and whoever controls holy cities, Wahabis, Hoties, Shias, Sunnis, or whoever.
Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
Gujranwalay: What a country (and it people) should do about an enemy who is using cluster bomb indiscriminately, a bomb that has notorious reputation of killing women and children, especially children, even after weeks of bombardment, and that is why it’s use has got banned by world organisations, as not only uncivilized, but crime against humanity.
But Saudis do not care for life and property of others, and that is why they are interfering in Yemen. Now, when Yemen is retaliating, they are running here and there, so that someone else can save them. Even though I have not posted much news on what KSA is doing in Yemen, but as you commented blaming Yemen killing Saudi brothers, let me show you what KSA is doing in Yemen, killing Yemeni brothers, Yemeni sisters and Yemeni children cruelly and in most uncivilized way.

Saudi cluster bombs kill more civilians in Yemen, report
Saudi Arabia is increasingly using the internationally-prohibited cluster bombs in its airstrikes on Yemen, thus doubling the casualties among women and children.
According to the Yemeni news agency, SABA, Saudi fighter jets pounded, yesterday, the district of Baqem in the northern province of Sa’ada with cluster bombs.
It is believed that at least 105 Yemeni civilians, mostly women and children, have been killed by cluster bombs dropped by Saudi warplanes during 2015.
The UK-based Thomson Reuters Corporation published a report on behalf of the Cluster Munition Coalition (CMC) saying these missiles which can be fired on the ground or in the air are capable of turning into hundreds of smaller bombs influencing a larger area.
These smaller splinter versions of these bombshells survive on the ground and act as a potential threat like a landmine. Due to their miniature design and toy-like appearance, these bombs pose a great danger to children in particular.
Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
Ironically, the saudi army itself is a mercenary yemeni army so it is truly a yemeni blood off on both sides.
I don't what is what but if they come near Makkah / Madinah (must have to be quite a reach), the Saudi AF would have already been bombing them for some time and heavily by that point. Pakistan would also be forced to act in such a scenario so I don't think the Houthis are that stupid unless Iran wants them to try and make a run for the holy sites.
Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
I do not think Pakistan would commit Pakistani forces to fight in war between two Muslim states (Yemen and KSA), neither Pakistan could afford that nor Pakistan armed forces would agree to that.
You are right that a large number of Saudi forces are Yemeni. But then, most people living in this world are Adamis - children of Adam (AS), and first murder happened was between siblings, that is, one son of Adam (AS) killed another son of Adam (AS), and that is way Allah created human beings. Important thing is that, who was right and who was wrong in killing other.
As for recent news from the region (Yemen Vs KSA), Yeman has captured famous city of Al-Qarn of Jizan, the city of Owais Qarni (RA).
[Note: Owais Qarni (RA) was from Al-Qarn, Province of Asir, but then, Jizan, Asir and Najran were all Yemani lands that in 1920s was captured by Ibn-Saud]

Houthi, Yemeni forces capture several sites inside Saudi Arabia
Jizan, Saudi Arabia ( 7:25 P.M.) – The Houthi forces, backed by the Yemeni Republican Guard, seized a number of sites in Saudi Arabia’s Jizan Region after a violent confrontation with the Arab Coalition on Tuesday.
According to Al-Masdar’s Yemen War correspondent Tony Toh, the Houthi forces and their allies captured the villages of Al-Qarn and Al-Safina in the Al-Khabuah area of the Jizan.
In addition to seizing the aforementioned villages in the Jizan Region, the Houthi forces and Yemeni Republican Guard also captured the Al-Dafiniyah site that is located in the contested Al-Khabuah area.
With their recent setbacks in the Jizan Region, the Saudi-led Coalition has been forced to increase the number of armed personnel they have in the southern part of their country.

This is what happens when a country thinks they have become power, and then start interfering in other countries affair. Then, when other country start giving befitting reply, they get undesirable shocks.

Yemeni missile strike kills 30+ Saudi soldiers
Jizan, Saudi Arabia (11:40 P.M.) – The Yemeni Army’s Rocket Battalion landed a direct hit on the ‘Ayn Al-Harrah Military Camp in the Jizan Region tonight, killing over 30 Saudi soldiers after a ballistic missile hit this military installation.
According to the Yemeni Republican Guard’s media wing, the Rocket Battalion fired a Qahir-1 Tochka Ballistic Missile into the Jizan Region of Saudi Arabia tonight, causing severe damage to the Saudi Army camp.
This missile strike tonight was conducted by the Yemeni Army’s Rocket Battalion in response to the Saudi Air Force’s merciless airstrikes over the Houthi-controlled Hajja, Saada, and Saana governorates that killed several civilians.
The fighting in the Jizan Region of Saudi Arabia has recently intensified, as the Houthi forces and Yemeni Republican Guard continue to advance north amid weak resistance from the Saudi Army.
Re: Iran’s deadly plot in KSA exposed
regardless, it is not good to be having war/fight in KSA which is where the holy cities are. Every effort must be taken to safeguard those cities as we know there are many who'd like to harm and cause chaos there.
May Allah protect the cities and all the Hajis and keep everyone safe. Hope this fighting can finish and people live in peace

Biggest suppliers of weapon to Hothies is USA who are doing that through Saudi Arabia.
Here are few videos of Saudi supplying American weapons to Hothies.
Recently supplied American weapons to Hothies, north-west of Yemen at Midi, near Saudi border. 8th Sept 2016.
Weapons to Hothies … in Najran … 27th of Aug 2016
Huge supply of weapon near Najran city to Hothies. Please watch whole video, though to see the quantity of weapons supplied, watch from 10 minutes onward to 20 minutes … 26th Aug 2016
Supply of weapons to Hothies… watch video after 22 minutes in video clipping … 24th Aug 2016
There are numerous videos and clipping showing Saudi weapons getting to Hothies. Above are only 4 videos from 24th Aug 2016 to 8th Sept 2016 (or around 16 recent days).
Actually, Saudis are also supplying number of vehicles and even tanks, but Hothies blow them up instead of using them. Probably, using heavy vehicles and tanks could make them easy target for planes, hence I believe, Hothies prefer to advance on foot.
