Pak has been working on JF-17 since sanctions. besides Pak was also eyeing Chinese AWACS and J10/J11.. As soon as they are available from China US or no US Pak will get em just like Al-Khalid and Agosta subs.

The JF-17 is a medium tech fighter
we need high-tech fighers
we should ask the chinese to serial produce their J-10 fighers which they will use for their invasion of Taiwan and to take on the F-16 fighters of Taiwan
Our Agosta is diesel powered, we need nuclear powered submarines
our al-khalid tanks are pretty good, but we need bigger tanks and heavy armor to engage in battle of attritions against the russian supplied indian tanks
so even though we have self-sufficent in these areas, we still need western help in mordernizing our armed forces
so we cannot ignore america and go to Iran for our defensive needs
Iran's Army, Air Force and Navy are totally obselete
dont be fooled by what Hezbollah is doing in Lebanon

No we do not need to go to any specific country for weapons since we have the ultimate weapon that gurantees peace in the region.. What we have must be modernized to keep up with the regional developemnets. We do not need nuclear subs but having couple with global reach is not a bad idea. Our Agostas must be equiped with SLBMs with nuclear war heads. We should have few ICBMS just in case and second strike capability.
Don’t worry about Hijbij this is not the first time yahahahodi ran away from S. Lebanon and it certainly is not going to be the last. Just look out for the spin… From return of captured terrorist, to destuction of Hijbij to disarming of hijbij to blah blah blah blah. In the end yahahahodi will settle for exchange of prisoners just like before go home and declare victory.

Israel has nukes and it doest guarantee freedom in the region.
As long as India thinks that India can neutralize our nuclear capability, the region will remain unstable.
India is getting Patriot Batteries and Arrow I missile defense shields which could possibly neutralize our missiles.
Our F-16s can deliver nukes on India and not our JF-17.
We need to upgrade our submarine fleet. Every nuclear armed country has 2nd strike capability on their submarines if their land based missiles are taken out.
We need to deploy Nukes on our subs and make them 2nd strike or even 1st strike weapons to take on India.
And our Agostas cannot do that. We need the Dolphin submarines.
Israel withdrew from Southern Lebanon under the auspices that once Israel withdraws Hezbollah will no longer attack Israel. That lasted for only 6 years when Hezbollah attacked Israel.
