Well drone appears to be in good condition though. But this was very smart of them. It showed Americans that they are not to mess with. Unlike our country..we haven't done anything to stop drone attacks.
I doubt the Iranians (or Americans for that matter) can actually intercept and re-deploy instructions to make it land. More likely there was a satellite glitch long enough for it to decide to land. Some GPS's for example get 'stuck' on old positional coordinates.
But then again, I do know some smart Iranians, so may be they did figure out a way!

Ironic it decided to land in the very state it was sent to spy on... Either its a terrible spy or a double agent...

americans would have rather exploded it in the air if they had slightest of hint that its going to land in Iranian territory.
I tend to believe that Iranians have actually pulled it off, and its pretty smart of them. its not fake because obama himself said usa is demanding iran to return the drone.
it didnt crash badly because its in good condition, may be some damage at the bottom that's why they covered that area
@NomiCA & Aceones! - no, obviously it was clearly out of American control and it doesn't look like it 'crashed'. So the only two options are either the Iranians figured a way to bring it down or it landed due to a glitch and Iranians took possession. My gues is a 35:65 that it was a glitch
Good for Iran. They hacked in to the drone cyber system and brought it down. The drone had several back up plans if the navigater lost control. such as several auto-control pilots taking over, programmed to return to base and even self destruct. ...but neither was applied as their system was totally jammed. :-D
It took the US five years to make, and they go and gift it to iran. lol.
Right now Iran are busy decoding the data and reverse engineering it for reproduction. then perhaps they'll sell them abroad as they're pretty much in demand!
