This is all designed for domestic consumption....
UAV Drones are very complicated to produce
1st - You need a Satellite to rely the information 2nd - You need a ground control station to fly the drone 3rd - You need the drone with high precision cameras and an engine which does not make noise and fly at high altitute and special lenses which don't fog up at high altitude
All of which takes YEARS of research and development and millions of dollars to achieve
This is UTTER BS by Iran
1st - No you don't. Terrain-mapping, INS, Radio navigation, doppler, etc. don't rely on satellites. Besides, Iran has plenty of satellites, so no problem using GPS either.
2nd - Ground control stations aren't difficult to build.
3rd - The characteristics of the engine & cameras have no effect on the existence of a UAV. Besides, these aren't difficult to make either.
