okay iam not a big scholar on world issues and recently came to know that iran and india actually have good relationship. and to me that was weird!!! considering iran being so strictly religious and stuff..

Well, Iran believes most of the Muslim countries' leaders are corrupt and being neglegent of the problems that the Muslims are facing today, i.e. Palestine etc

Or it might be other way around.i.e. other countries being bitch cuz of Iran being Shia country!
iran and india dont have borders so no border disputes never invaded iran did anything against their people why should

Real quick two bit summary and history.
US doesn't like Iran. US wants USSR out of Afghanistan. CIA revives the vitality of Jihad by getting the house of Saud to get Zia to start madrasshas to channel border line sane people to go kill and get killed in Afghanistan. Iran and Iraq have been killing each other in the meantime. Iran started by wanting to liberate the 60% of Iraqi's who are Shia. Saddam is from the 40% Sunni. Iran really buys into the notion that they are going to bring true Islam i.e. Shia variety to the rest of the world. Makes connections in lebanon, gets 300 marines killed, US packs up and leaves. Iran is the big honcho now. USSR disintegerates. USA is happy, Saudis are still friends, oil is flowing, new world order is on the horizon. Forgets about iran, forgets about afghanistan, forgets about pakistan, forgets about kashmir, etc. etc.
Pakistan under Zia finds this marvelous wepon developed by CIA handy and at their disposal. The wepon is ofcourse how to churn out hundreds of jihadis who are willing to go get themselves killed to get to heaven. Saudi's are nervous about Iran and the Saudi whabbi's hate iranian shias. So Zia gets Saudis or Saudi's get Zia (I don't have that one clearly) to keep this wepon ready and in use. Pakistan has beginning of kalishnakov and drug culture by now. We now have iranians being shot and killed in Pakistan. Pakistan is developing notion of 'strategic depth' and plans to take over Afghanistan. Enter the Taliban; Pakistan loves them supports them and sends people and material to help them. Taliban kill Northern Afghanistanis who just happen to be all farsi (Dari) speakers and mostly shia. Pakistan wants the Central Asia oil to flow through Pakistan, and Iran wants it to flow through Iran.
Are you still with me so far?
Pakistan also uses the wepons against India in Kashmir to get Kashmir liberated. Makes clear to the Indians that it has nuclear capabilities and so Indians better not attack and keep the fight restricted to Kashmir. Indias starts the chant of cross border terrorism and tries to fight by creating MQM in Karachi etc. So now we have bombs exploding in India and Pakistan cities and newspapers are full of ISI did this and RAW did that etc. India looks at what Pakistan is doing in Afghanistan and starts to help the Northern Allaince. Most of Northern Allaince leader families are refugees in New Delhi area. So India and Iran find themselves fighting the taliban against Pakistan in the proxy war in Afghanistan. Poor Afghanis are dying and suffering meanwhile but who cares. India also is starting to do economically well and wants to buy all the gas and oil from Iran. Iran meanwhile is busy mismanaging its economy and so see the energy deal with India as great. India also helps the Iranians to get good relations with Russians so they can get nuclear plants etc. etc. Net result: Iran and India are great friends.

lol, yeah....Iran is terrorist country #1 in US's list but we'll never hear a word from india about that. For india the whole world revolves around Pakistan.
One correction in the above post:
Northern Afghans are not all dari speaking, and even those who speak it as primary language arnt all the same. And 90-95% of them are sunnnis, only the hazaras are divided among shia and sunni.
And before the Taliban the northern Afghans primarly the tajiks, the usbegs and hazaras were killing each other not the other way round. Even after the Taliban took over they didint change their habit. And now after they have a good chunk of power the habbits of their leaderovs still havnt changed much
