but i am glad i wrote what i always wanted to write in my xams, but never wrote cuz of the dogmaz.

On a serious note….
First of all .. I was bit disappointed with the amount of entries we received On Allama Iqbal … But I comprehend that it happened because most of the café people may haven’t read or heard about him .. I hope to see an increase in future competitions…
Moderators should have taken part as well … we had two competition with different themes , what I reckon is .. one big competition for Gs crowd …. May be Next year Insallah ….
So far I am very happy with this experiment … it is indeed high time that we should introduce our Heroes to our young generation .. Doing it in café was a successful attempt in this regard …
I am judging one in poetry forum ( yes I aint an authority of IQBAL … But some body has to do it ) …. The one and only objection I have …. Regarding entries …. I will be mentioning it in poetry forum as well …
Most of entries are written without citations or referencing … Some thing , which we may call plagiarism .. In a nutshell … I believe some of them are close imitation of the language and thoughts of other authors. And we shouldn’t be doing at any level ….

I was not talking about you.
I was saying that GN and Dushi, kind of experienced a defeat, as they were all competing for first postion.
Just because they could not qualify, now they have to go through this agony of receiving a personal note and taweez from myself and X2.

Yeah, I think we did good for our first attempt. It's Ok to give reference as long as you don't claim it as your own, which no-one did. If you are talking about the poetry and works of a poet, it is perfectly in order to refer to his work. I think all of you did a great job keeping the flow.
I also agree that while this was a starting point, we will bring on more opportunities for people to participate in and hopefully educate ourselves in our rich heritage.
