right every time i go on my iphone/ipod’s safari and try to download any of the songs…it simply just plays the song but does not download it cause the device does not have a download plugin.
does anyone know how you can download stuff directly from your ipod/iphone’s safari to the device.
There are apps available on apps store, from wich u can download music directly into ur iPad from safari..iDownload Plus download manager player is one of the app in category productivity...n it's free:)
Where are u playing the songs from? Even on PC's it doesn't ask to download if u've previously specified to open a certain format with an application and save that setting.

No, you cant directly download music into your Ipod/Iphone. Ipod/iphones dont have any music management software that is built in. You need to work though Itunes.
iTunes, that's what i hate about apple products, you need iTunes for everything, Duh
Yo have the best tablet computer on the market with the highest resolution screen, but when you want to watch a movie or play a song, you will have to convert/copy it through iTunes from you Computer.
On Android, you can download movies/songs from anywhere and play almost all video files :D
It's a youtube interface with downloadability built into it. There are 2 catches though:
Your music downloads within the app. So to play it, you have to launch the app. Music is localized so no wifi is necessary as long as it has already been downloaded.
Your device must be jailbroken to get the app.
aDownloader
It's a safari plugin for the iDevices (mainly iPhone). Gives safari the capability to download files including flv, mp3, wav, pdf, docx, etc..etc...
