Samsung G. Armani is my next Item on the buying list. I loved It from the very first moment. Price is quite high though...Will wait a bit more.

interesting scenario, I fully expect others to jump in it also, nike, adidas, mont blanc and ferrari, ..ferrari already has that laptop with acer anyways

Well there are some new luxury phones to be introduced:
Porsche, Ferrari, D&G is already on the market, Bang and Olufsen, then there is an awesome notebook by Asus for Lamborgini :)
Some more will follow im pretty sure.

the motorola ferrari phone is lame. really, teh sharp one, i dunno muc bout.
D&G razr is cheesy. same for the nokia lamborghini chesy plus way too expensive.
Love love love the porsche one, but way too expensive :D $1500+ or so here.

Oh well, If you consider the fact that there is still a luxury class above that: the Vertu Phones, then nothing really seems to be expensive in their comparison.
Btw, have you made up your mind by now? Iphone yes or no? Why dont you go for Itouch?

All those designer phones are not doing it for me at all. First with the proprietary OS you can't install all the applications out there and secondly they seem a bit too tacky for my taste.

iphone it is, but word on the street is that prices are going to go down after new years. so I will wait. :D
vertu is too cheesy, even if i had that much money to spend I would not buy it.

I wa smerelytalkign about the aesthetics, in which case the porsche, armani and prada phones look real nice, dinn do any further due diligence on features, functions pros and cons.

X2, I wouldnt buy Vertu phone myself. They look too cheap....matlab shoda punna I dont like.

well, i am not a big fan of iphone or apple but i was tired of my old phone and wanted to buy another one so went with the iphone. i ended up 'unlocking' (jail break..not the SIM unlock) it which allows you to change the icons, skins and other stuff. that is quite neat. i normally keep the phone in my pocket. i bought a hard cover for it when its in my pocket and a separate one while i am traveling so i can clip it to my belt.
i had a bad experience of losing my first iphone..yes yes i know :-----/ i was at the airport and had it clipped to my belt and was getting late for my flight..after getting out of the cab i realized my phone was missing. i have no idea what happened. it could have been stolen or just got lost. i wish Apple would have some sort of a tracking system for this....
i ended up getting another one...company paid ;-)

Iphone is best!
Vertu is terrible cell. I refused to get it as a gift! No functions and ugly design.

thats why I said aesthetics, the GA and prada phones are sleek, clean lines and all. too bad that it took a designer to come up with clean lines. there are far too many ugly ass phones out there why cant they make some cheaper but sleek phones. label does not matter.

cuz I dont want to pay extra just for the label. function/features, quality, usability and aesthetics. thats important to me and I will pay for that.
