I don’t know much features but they both look pretty nice. Can you please help me and tell me about the features both have.
And whats the difference between them. All I know is iphone had video conferencing but I am not interested in that part.And one more question how is android OP system.Is it easy to use or apple’s op is easy to use? So many questions.Please help

They probably have a thick hard-cover, I know one person who got his on very 1st day and is running into call drops. There is another of his colleague who uses a BT headset with iphone 4 but still drops calls like dead flies, he will probably return within 30 days.

^ The cover/case does not have to be thick, even plastic (insulating) bumpers would do the trick. The problem is, they have this sleek housing around the phone, which also serves as the wifi and the signal antennae, and forms a conductive path if held in a particular way, through the hand. Bumpers insulate it. I dont know why your friend with the BT has issues if hes not even holding it, but it could be due to ATT’s crappy reception, or a defective phone.

^ The person who got his i4 on first day has a bit ‘thinner’ cover and he still drops calls/signal, but other people who seem to have thicker cover have less of this problem (or atleast they don’t admit that they have such problem)
BTW: I have AT&T too and I don’t have call drop problems, I don’t use iphones

Iphone as signal problem and its also known to Apple but they dont want to repair it but maybe they will just try to give people a mental satisfaction by implementing a software update (4.0.1) what they just released. Although its a hardware problem.
I am on HTC HD2. Although I am thinking to buy HTC Wildfire now because of OS difference.
Iphone is fine but I am not Iphone fan.
Its not really a ‘problem’, I mean you are making a conductive path b/w the wifi and the signal antenna through your hand… A software patch is easy, just increase the transponder radiation, voila!! Let’s see how that improved battery performance holds up though.
Why is it not a ‘problem’? Unless you are a Steve Job follower who thinks to not hold the phone ‘incorrectly’

^ not really, im not buying the iphone 4g as right now im happy with the bold 9700, but seriously, this isnt a problem and is being blown to proportions by i) verizon ii) people who are pro-android iii) users who want apple to throw in some free stuff…
i have tonnes of friends who have the new iphone and not even a single person complained about reception…
it is not a problem because duh, if u make a conductive path b/w the wifi antenna and the signal antenna, ur bound to get some iffy reception issues… for what they achieved using this aluminum extended housing antenna, and battery life, its worth it.
Actually it get short circuit when the part near antenna comes in touch with human body. So Network Signals, Wifi, Bluetooth all gets dead.
Also by increasing radiation they also have to make changes for the explanation of SAR’s regarding head and body effect.
I have heard lot of people complaining about Iphone4 gs and in our area At&t reception is not good also.So Iphone is not going to work for me I need to have cell phone with strong signal.About Droid X I haven’t seen it but I am thinking of trying it.
I tried T-mobile HTC and it had windows OS, I didn’t like it.:bummer:Now I like Samsung Vibrant it has android 2.1 and it says that it can get updates from android OS.Last I heard was android was having problems with updating the system.But anywayz I have two options now Droid X or Samsung vibrant from t-mobile.
And I am still thinking because Verizon plans are expensive.T-mobile and Verizon coverage in our area is great btw.
Any suggestions on Samsung Vibrant. Here Costco is selling this phone at good price but its Samsung :bummer:

so they are saying that with i4.1 the phone could keep contact with network even if signal strength is -121dbm but with i4.0 it could go upto -113dbm the rest seems to be just gibberish as it is mainly the ‘mapping’ of signal strength to # of bars. It doesn’t tell how much signal drops by “incorrectly holding” ( ) the i4.0 and how much it improved by i4.1.

Read again, that was covered pretty well in that article, and no it wasnt written by steve jobs… totally independent… Again, this isnt really an issue, its just ‘made’ into an issue.
Anandtech points out that Apple is mainly responsible for the increasing amount of negative press by not coming clean about the attentuation issue earlier, and instead only addressing the software side of the equation. Apple has announced a press conference for Friday that may address the iPhone 4’s antenna.

^dude, Steve jobs admitted him self, iphone 4 is not perfect, it has much more signal problem then any other phone in the world
i) Where did I say it was perfect?
ii) It’s far from perfect, or I would have gotten it, but not because of this reception issue… I have qualms with the price, the way ATT monopolizes the overpriced data plan, and the way the phone bricks with new updates to prevent jailbreaking.
iii) Come on now, I can show you phones models that will barely get a bar where there’s full service
