i dont know if i have put this question in the right section, but i really need some help i want to put some music onto my iphone but i have no idea how to do it when i connect the iphone usb into the laptop my itunes come up firstly i have my music in a different folder so i tried copying and pasting but nothing i tried t move folder into itunes nothing happened i also tried 2 copy indivdual files but with no long so what am i dont wrong?>

first reinstall/update your itunes
then tell me can you see songs in itunes library or NONE at all?

i can see songs but not the ones i want to put onto my phone

- Add the folder where your music is by clicking on File / Add folder.
- Once its added on there you would see all the songs
- Then plug your iPhone in and it will get recognized and appear in the left Navigation bar. When you click on it you would get all the tabs in the main window, one of them being Music
- In the Music tab you can specify what you want to sync to your iPhone

the folder is not copying into the music pane of itunes :s

How far do you get? You added the folder to iTunes, did the songs show up in the iTunes window? (this is before you even plug in your iphone.

First check if all the desired songs are showing up under your music folder of iTunes. This should show up even before you plug your iPhone. After you plug your iPhone, it should pop up in your iTunes left side. Click on it. On right side, you should see all the tabs; music, photos, apps and all. Go to music tab, make sure that ‘sync entire music library’ is checked and hit the sync button at the bottom right corner.
