Well, so I finally bit down on my pride and ordered an iPhone :sadaf:
Its 3g for now, 3gs would come if I decide to keep with the iphone, then I should be able to trade this one in.
I have started building a list of apps that I may need/want on my iphone. Here are a few that I’m going to start with. Ofcourse I’m using GS now in liu of my regular list making application 
Best one I’ve seen: Photoshop Lite.
As I’d mentioned in a previous thread the types of apps I’d be looking for would include:
- Internet apps: email, web-browsing, limited IM and Skype, FTP
- GPS utilities
- Teethered internet connection/sharing for laptop,
- Games: solitaire, sudoko
- Media: photo album, audio/video
- Other utilities, e.g. storing passwords, dictionary
I found this list of iPhone Apps that they claimed would come in handy (some I really like):
- Pandora - find similar songs (Last.FM)
- Midomi - Find the right song by tune
- Yelp - find restaurants, bars, banks with GPS (Urban spoon)
- ShoZu - social network aggregator
- WritingPad (shape) - note taking appl
- Stanza - EBook reader
- Jott - voice trascription
- Google Mobile App
- Instapaper - read articles later once its been sent from the PC
So let’s get a good list together.
Maybe we should ask Azkar to get an iPhone app for GS as well.
