not many major changes apart from 5C which is supposed to be a cheaper model targeted at chinese market. For the first time, Apple released two models at once.
disappointed in 5S though, only internal changes which many people won’t even notice.

iPhone 5S & 5c released
Solidified my decision to switch over to the s4 in dec when my contract is up
My love affair with iPhone is over ![]()
Re: iPhone 5S & 5c released
Not much innovation in this version.
Re: iPhone 5S & 5c released
The S version is like a mid-cycle upgrade so you don't expect to see that much there anyway. I am a fair critic, so let me say that Android has more malware which is in large part due to the fact that there are millions of phones out there that are still running 2.x flavors. You talk about apple cutting of iphone 4 from iOS 6, what about android or phone companies not updating OS after 1 year or so? I have a Note 2 and though I am on 4.1.2, I don't think that I have received the security patch that plugs a very well known recent malware. I ran a scan and it told me that though I was protected for some other malware, my phone might still be vulnerable to the newer kinds.
Sorry Google, but you really dropped the ball here. The only other option is to get Nexus, but then you lose microSD slot and with no support for Flash, I really don't see any reason why one should buy (a different..) Android anymore. I was hoping for Microsoft to hit big with Win 8 phones so more apps get developed but that hasn't happened yet.
Re: iPhone 5S & 5c released
so this upgrade will be something like windows ME.... avain hee
Re: iPhone 5S & 5c released
Lol. Someone in yahoo comments section said “Welcome to iPhone 5S(ame) and iPhone 5C(heap)”
I’d say It’s a pretty accurate description. I would hate to shell out 200 for a fingerprint scanner, and extra flash for low light photography. Will wait to see what iPhone 6 packs.
Pretty content with Galaxy for now, and I don’t even use all its’ features.
As Doppler said, this release is in par with their other mid cycle releases, like 4S and 3vs.
Re: iPhone 5S & 5c released
I had iPhone 4s and went on to buy S3 and I don’t like it ![]()
Will be going back to iphone and getting 5S
Re: iPhone 5S & 5c released
^Good for you.
Re: iPhone 5S & 5c released
^^I have seen this one. Even shared it on my facebook wall. Pretty funny...
Re: iPhone 5S & 5c released
Most people fail to grasp such a basic fact that iPhone doesn't lag.

That may be true. iPhone is solidly built. I like it for that reason, and still have an iPhone 4 that I use as browser at home :D
However, the problem with Apple's marketing is that people are starting to catch on. To pay full price every year for minute changes, is really not cool for a company whose products are quite cool. The gripe is not the quality of the product, it's the price point and lack of newer features on mid-cycle upgrades. For Instance, If I just purchased iPhone 5 not too long ago, and here comes 5S, I as a consumer may want the latest, but not sure How I'd feel about paying more than $200 for it especially considering, the upgrades take at least a year or more before you get discounted price.
This is the case with most people. For someone going from iPhone 4 or, 3GS to any of these new phones may be worth the cost. But for majority, not so much because almost everyone in a certain age group has a year or less than a year on their current phone. (I may be wrong).

There is nothing like Apple's marketing. No one even comes close to that. You mentioned about paying full price for upgrades but you know that Apple only releases updates around the same time frame each year so everybody knows what they are getting into when they purchase an iPhone. What do you mean by new features? It has almost everything that people need except the customization part which is sad but it runs butter smooth. Only iOS and Windowsphone can run butter smooth on old smartphones. Then there is support, your iPhone 4 is getting iOS 7 even though it's been more than 3 years since it's release. If you look on the other hand people barely get any support on their old phones unless you own a Nexus. The apps are fully customized and their is no fragmentation. It destroy's all the big bosses of android with 1 GB ram and a dual core processor. Lastly, android phones start lagging within a year of their release so I think it's a plus that your 1 year old iPhone still feels new. There is also a wide range of accessory support. It's not just an iPhone, it's much more than that.
Lakin apni apni choice hai.
Re: iPhone 5S & 5c released
^^ This is what happens when a company controls both the hardware and the software. This is where android is lagging.
