So for the last little while, my iPhone 4s has been taking forever to sync with iTunes. Anywhere between 2-3 hours, and I know that this isn’t normal, because others have been able to sync their phones within a few minutes.
Has anyone had this problem, and if so, what has been your solution? It’s getting pretty frustrating having to wait hours just to add a few songs to my phone. I’ve tried looking for a remedy online, but nothing seems to be working.
Also, I’ve noticed that sometimes it just tends to freeze while it’s backing up. Just doesn’t get past that.
Any help would be great, otherwise I’ll be stuck listening to gasp the radio.
Try syncing something small in size like contacts and or calendar(if Apple the great lets you,not an apple fan & user so I am not sure) and see if it still takes longer to finish. That way u will know if it's phone,iTunes or PC you are using.
Oh you changed your username. I had nearly fled this forum thinking some chinese spammer named us14485.. had invaded this forum as well selling necklaces, computers or pakistani clothes...

thanks for the ideas folks. i'll try syncing only certain things, and see if that makes a difference.
and yes, my cable is fine :)
tlk - i've got about 400 songs, but it shouldn't mean that anytime i want to add a few songs to my playlist, that i have to wait over an hour to do so.
