can’t wait for my Transformer device… two days to go. I’ve been reading a lot of positive reviews and I’m glad I opted for this instead of the playbook… and thank you Tofi for bringing my attention to this.

You ordered it already? I really want to get back on the Android bandwagon (yeah, i have the phone but you know what i mean). Now I think I want 3g built in too. That’s what happens when you get one device. You discover what else you want in the next one

I used the playbook for a week… test drove a Transformer at the store while it was on backorder… determined that the efficient user interface of the Honeycomb + unrestricted email syncing + customizable home screen are essential features that the playbook doesn’t have at the moment and that’s why I ordered it online.
I think I’ll be okay without the 3G. I can always tether it to the smartphone and use my dataplan which I don’t even use other than checking email and a bit of social networking.

Yeah, I tether too, but that eats up my battery using the wifi hotspot.
Now they need to come up with better batteries. Ipad battery just keeps going. kindle battery is just amazing. I haven’t seen any android that stays on for more than 3-4 hours.

^ apparently, the Transformer is pretty good in terms of battery from what I’ve read… specification says 8 hours but the reviews say 6 is more realistic… with the keyboard dock, it gets bumped up to 10 hours.

This guy who works for me is also dead set on the Transformer, I’m going to borrow it one weekend. I really was looking forward to this tab. I guess it wasn’t in the stars for me to have it.

been using my tablet for a couple of days now and I absolutely love it. I’ve been using it for email (exchange & gmail), making family videos, gps maps etc. - I think I’m gonna order the keyboard dock next month to give me the option of trannsforming it into a netbook.

I am very jealous LC. Test the battery, let’s see how it is. Might ebay the ipad (althought i’m really looking forward to the IOS ver. 5)

Ipad 2 is the best thing since Ipad original.
