iPad

How come iPad can help to students? Do you think it as good investment in term of productivity and efficiency?

As the size of ipad/any other tablets allow us to use it any place. Do you think it could reduce slack?

discuss. :chai:

Re: iPad

  1. Depends on what the student wants to do with it.
  2. No.
  3. No. Reducing "slack" is an attitude.

Re: iPad

Student wants to study pdf files, ppt files, and if time allows then youtubing and other stuff.

Re: iPad

Student doesn't want a laptop? Greater flexibility in creating documents. But if that is not a requirement then iPad would be fine.

Re: iPad

already have a laptop, but it is not feasible to read document on it. isn't it cool idea to read ebooks/lecture slides on bed before sleeping. I am sure, microsoft's documents are not too alien to ipad.

Re: iPad

If you just want to read, then get a Kindle.

Re: iPad

but kindle is specific to ebooks. ipad is kind of little mac/iphone and full fledge browser. i can use it later. :konfused:

Re: iPad

Re: iPad

tofi baba: i have htc android phone, i may go with ipad. but before buying it i will do research on both product.

Re: iPad

The good: The Nexus 7's quad-core Tegra 3 processor delivers fast performance and a beautiful and responsive screen. Also, it's comfortable to hold and Android 4.1 brings a surplus of welcome additions. At only $200, the Nexus 7 is a steal.
The bad: The lack of built-in expandable storage and and omission of HDMI are disappointing and the design follows the plain, black tablet mold. The top and bottom bezels are a bit too thick.
The bottom line: With a beautiful screen, fast performance, a comfortable design, and overall great media options, the Nexus 7 is easily the best 7-inch tablet available and one of the top tablets on the market.
