Ipad orientation lock

When i searched online i found out many people had same issue with ipad’s orientation lock as i do however i wanted to ask at this forum if anyone of u experienced it and if you know something that worked to correct it. Let’s just say i am not too sure if i want to send it back to have it fixed :bummer:.

So what is the issue? It stopped working for you or you don't know how to lock your orientation?

When you are holding the iPad in your hands in portrait mode, it's a switch on the right edge of your iPad. This switch can be programmed to be used as a mute switch or orientation control switch

nahi the issue is that even when locked, at times it starts changing its orientation! some days it works just fine and others it starts acting up gain.

do you have a loose switch? Take it to apple store and the first thing that they will probably do is a reset and then a warranty repair if it warrants it.

Reset was done couple of times. It wl have to be replaced now. They already agreed to that but i will just have to wait for it for some time hence was avoiding it.
