The runs scored by Inzimam were greater than kiwis whole team could score in two complete innings.
INZIMAM: 329
NEWZEALAND: 73 and 246 = 319
I am sure that this feat has been achieved very few times before in test cricket. Can any one provide with records.

Thanks tipz for taking over the role of mod. However I will let this thread run as the other thread is about Inzi acheiving 327 runs. This is looking at it from a different and interesting point, i.e. how many has times has one batsmen scored more run then the total scored in two innings by the opposing team.

I remember one Match England Vs. India Where Graham Gooch Scored 333 and 123 but the total was bigger than Indian score in the first innings.

In1938 Sir Len Hutton of England scored 364 and Australia scored 201 and 123 in two innings. It was also the highest margin defeat of all times.
