Inzimam Should retire from International Cricket now.

It is not the best of the time for a great player to leave… But respect and dignity is very important in cricket as well as in real life.

The nation might be, but the management / PCB is not worthy enough for him to render his most dedicated services.

He should show middle finger to Dr. Naseem Ashraf and say
F-uck you Mr. Chairman :mad2: Yes that was my decision and this is my decision. Now go to hell :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Inzimam Should retire from International Cricket now.

We have seen the results of Champions Trophy and mass supported Younis Khan as Captain.

I dont think its the best time for him to retire. Atleast not unitl the WC 2007.

The present PCB chairman is only trying to be smart which he is not !

U Dont be emotional, because inzi will not!

Re: Inzimam Should retire from International Cricket now.

Why do Pakis attach their pride and honour btw their legs? As if though refusing to play was the honorable thing to do, my dear guppy did Pakistan not lose a bit of their dignity when Aaloo refused to play as per the rules? Did Pakistan not lose a little bit more of its dignity when the erstwhile gentleman was unable to comprehend umpire decision? What right does the Big Tinda have to forgive Darrel Hair? Will he pay the STG 800,000 damages demanded by ECB? As a nation, everytime we have a problem we sud refuse to play, is that the message we want our kids to learn?

Iam afraid u have it wrong, big time.

Re: Inzimam Should retire from International Cricket now.

^ all based on one wrong assumption that inzi alone decided to protest....

Re: Inzimam Should retire from International Cricket now.

Dear Guru !
What inzi did was not the best line of action on paper, in theory, I agree. But he had done nothign or murmured protest it would have been worst line of action, and utter ridicule to the entire nation.
Because inzimam is not capable to do it properly on his own. We in pakistan have a cricket board which has no balls.

Inzimam refused to play because Darrel hair called him and his team cheats. If he had continued to play then there would have weak case PCB would have tried to hush the matter and ICC would have taken the side of Darrel hair ( which it is already doing despite his immoral and illegal actions) and the media would have gone on rampage.

It is a moral and legal vicotory for Inzimam. He has exposed Darrel hair to the entire world. See

  1. Darrel hair has wrongly accused pakistan of cheating. Proved
And PCB failed to take him to task by subsequently proving that It is Darrel hair who brought game of cricket to disrepute by False and baseless accusition of cheating on Pakistan. And it was his action which caused the whole fiasco

  2. Darrel hair has asked under hand money to hush up the matter.
No action taken against him is Utter and most discusting failure of PCB and its moronic bosses.

Now the whole world comprehend Darrel hair loud and clear :)

Inzi forgave Darrel hair in his own personal capacity. He did not ask cricket board to forgive him. The demand by ECB is a direct result of PCB's failure to take action against Darrel hair for damaging the game of cricket.

NO !
Kids will see and understand that refusing to play the game is WRONG and the one who did has been penalized. But they should also understand that when you have done nothing wrong and people are falsely accusing then you should stand up and stay firm, even if you career is on stake

Re: Inzimam Should retire from International Cricket now.

this is wot i wrote before the last match of Pakistan in my journal.. and i totally agree with u..

I don't like to say it but it seems that the good time and unity we had in our team is going to dissipate quickly into the air... with the new chairman of PCB making statements, it look like he is send to do more harm than any good for the team... Pakistan team which has shown a little bit of consistency and motivation and dedication in their performance for the last couple of years, i strongly doubt if they will keep these qualities under new PCB chairman.

Whatever anybody says that nobody is bigger than the game but there r personality which do emerge to be the reason for the game.. similarly with many shortcomings in Inziman he manages to built a 1 strong, motivated and dedicated and selfless fighting unit....

He wasn't a very aggressive leader on the field, he wasn't the very best field placer during the match but may be his success lies in his defenses and he knew his limitation just like the westindies showed the indian in the yesterday champions trophy's match...

and above all he was one good leader for the team at the times of trouble... and whenever the team needed him he manages somehow to come and deliver for the team...

I wish that he resigns now... but as i said he is not aggressive and he might not do it... but this is THE TIME he should resign ...

he was the one man who somehow managed to make the game popular AGAIN and people stopped talking about bribery and corruption in the players after every defeat... but the bad times seems to be returning back soon... i wish i m wrong.
