i dont know why its hard for some ppl to accept the fact that Miandad had a big part in Imran's success. His sharp cricketing brain and onfield tactics mixed with Imran's team management to create the tigers team.
I believe a big majority of 'cricket' followers will agree with you, but unfortunately Miandad has other issues alongwith that which were unexposed (or partly exposed) during Imran's era. Some of it got exposed during 'revolts' against him and more during his stints as coach. He is really horrible in man-management/handling and that is a very important attribute as a 'coach'. His being big mouth is one of things that puts him in company of Rashid Latif (who is better of the two I blv :D) ... anyone remembers his comment about Sehwag (or was it Irfan Pathan) before India visited Pakistan and then we know what happened afterwards (well that is just one example).
