That's very good.. but Andy Flower was like only 40 some runs behind with an average way.... higher.

That means if Andy Flower would have play some more tests, he could have got way way more. I wouldn't doubt it.

Inzamam played 12 tests against lanka(6), windies(3) and england(3). Flower played 8 tests windies(2), england(2), NZ(2), India(2). Flower is excellent player of spin, even accepting that without kumble, indian spin does not bite at all. Flower has done really well, both in temperament and runs agreeing that he has to keep wickets as well which requires lot of concentration. So has Inzi. Another notable this year was Youhana.

And yes, Murali is a leading wicket taker. Statistically he is taking over Warne, Saqlain, Kumble all. His figures in recent past have been great and he is going to have great figures at end of career if he goes with current form.

P.S. did u guys notice that among batsman who have made more than 100 runs in year, shihid afridi has highest strike rate in tests (68% strike rate, avg. 30), way better strike rate than lara(59%) and sachin (60%) and steve(60%). So if any batsman of today makes a test century before lunch or in some one session, it is going to be afridi, povided pakistan cricket board gives him chance to play test).

Razzaq is a lead wicket taker for the year 2000 in ODI matches with 61 wickets trailing him is Pollock with 61 wickets also but more overs and both played same amount of matches,
