But what did Afridi seem to be saying? If it was the curse words, then it was bad, otherwise it's okay.
And ICC is a bunch of retards. While they will do ABSOLUTELY nothing to improve the standard of umpiring, they're ever-ready to slap fines and bans on players. Why in the world should a player not protest a bad decision?? If anything, it's the umpire who should be banned. And the excessive appealing stems from another dumb ICC/cricket that a batsman is NOT given out unless the bowling team appeals. So if there is a plumb LBW or a caught behind, and the fielding team does not appeal, the umpire will keep his fingers in his pocket and give the batsman not out. So naturally, the fielding team will appeal if they think the batsman could be out. And when they do, the ICC promptly fines the players for excessive appealing. Why can't the umpires just do their job and give the batsman out automatically if they think he's out, without having the fielding side appeal?
Well that's exactly what i said, Younis, Youhanna and Asim didn't deserve it either. Lot of Indian fans praised Kaif and Chuckys tactics and now they are on the receieving end.
there was nothing wrong with what afridi did but bhaaji and ganguly should have both been fined bhaaji for being an ass and cussing younis and ganguly for being an ass and standing there after afridi schooled him and oh yeah inzi zindabaad
Faisal bhai.. I totally disagree. Afridis sleding kept the Indians off balance all game. We need 11 players with his agressive attitude. Thats why the Aussies are so good.
By the way, Dravid is’nt such a gentelman like he comes of to be. Dont forget he almost got into a physical fight with Shaoib in the ICC match in England. Though I dont think he would last very long LOL.
I still get a big laugh whenever I remember Sami giving a stare to Laxman (or any batsman for that matter)… to me it looked like “ab 4 ya 6 maara to mai abba ko bol doon ga”.
those stares to Lax were totally uncalled for - I know a lot of times its about mind games in Cricket, but Lax’s mature and close-to-none reaction spoke volumes about the type of player he is. Him and Dravid are the two guys on the Indian side who’ve almost never been actively confrontational. Kudos to them both and I for one think our players should keep it mellow when it comes to people like them. With everyone else… they can go nuts!
^^ It was more like “mai tumhara khoon pee jaoungi kutaay” stare
Jokes aside, I think its quite normal and Pakistanis are just beginning to refine this art of ‘intimidating’ tactics. No love lost I guess :k:
