I am inviting someone to islam, …i already told him some stuff about islam.. but it appears that he is so religious, and it appears that he doesn’t want to change to islam that easily.. he is christian(prostant), can u plz tell me a good way to invite him to islam…i also have other friends from other religions(hindu, sikh, catholic) & i want to invite them to Islam w/o hurting their feelings about their religion…please help me out…
Leave them alone. Better yet, join them in their religion if you want to be united with them. One can change him or herself without changing what he she may be called.
Send them an evite. Make sure it has baloons and streamers and things. Also, tell them not to wear anything black or any silk fibres. There will be no music, no dancing xcept for a burkha clad woman gyrating feverishly to the music in her head. But men will have to lower their gaze. Also, entrance to the party must be paid in gold, because money is the work of the devil. But no tgold from male jewlery. Also, no lipstick will be allowed and tieing rakhis on the hands of hindus will mean swift punishment.
If you can think of other things to add in the disclaimer, please do so.

If you have already told them about Islam then you are done with your job, they have received the message. Leave them alone, don't over do it. If they have any questions they can contact you or you can provide them some other suitable contacts for their questions.

I have some friends here that are very inclined towards their own religion. I actually have a Sikh friend who is more religious then an average muslim. The traits he exhibits are of a true Momin. What I have done is visited his "Gurdhwara" upon his invitation, so in turn he came to the Mosque. Do not Invite them Bluntly to Islam. This is something that happens from Allah. As he gives Hidayah. Make it out to where they ask Questions about Islam instead of you having to tell them well Islam says this what does Christianity say? I hope you see my point. Inshallah when the time is right they will come without an invitation.
I think the fatal flaw in your method of invitation is you want to do it without hurting their feelings. As long as you're worried about others' feelings no +ve RSVPs. The successful inviters use very different tactics - swords, Jaziya, decapitation etc. You'll be surprised how fast decapitees accept your invitations
