Hey all , my parents are thinking of further investing in a property in Islamabad, is this a good idea?? What particular location in ISB is likely to yield a higher rate of return on investment. We were advised that for long term porpose, D12 (i think) as it is at the foot of the hills would be the new E7.
The property is for investment purposes only, and is most probably going to be larger than previous investments.
They have so far concentrated their search in F7 and have found a property which i think is far too great an investment for just 1 property.
right now ppl who invested over the last 12 montsh are sitting nervously looking at the political situation unfold, they bought high, hoping it will go higher, which is entirely possible if the stability and security is maintained/improved. Otherwise we have seen property values plunge in pakistan before too.
Haveli21 you are seeking a purposeful guidance?? If yes, I would need some more information on your intention, e.g., whether the "investing money" is Black or White. After that a better option may be suggested. However, I usually suggest to my clients that there are several other ways to earn profit, other than investing in property.
