She had a good run for a bit.
I think her show started out similar to day time shows in USA - then turned into circus. The first very obvious downfall was shaadi week. That was it - then tho eik se eik bar kar ghadai.

the real founder was none other than mustansir hussain tarar who was fondly referred to as chacha jee. it was primaruly feared towards kids and he used to read and show kids mail. The highlight was a 3-5 minute cartoon. the cartoon was so well timed that after it ended, we would leave home for school and get there on time

NKS was first commercialized morning show in the history of satellite(private) channel. Her show was good and unique in nature, but as you indicated that inclusion of various segment made them womanized.

aur kul mein dekha GEO walay show per amir liaqat kuch paka raha tha

i dont like morning shows .. silly and disrespectful to elders in front of the nation . . sometimes they are uncomfortable to watch even

Tarar sb and Quratulain Ali alternately hosted the show and being the dinosaur that I am I distinctly remember it started sometime in 1988. I remember my mom and chachee tayees trying out Kokab Khawajas latest tarkeeb every week. She was Pakistan's first celebrity chef and her Marie biscuit cold cake, beef chilli dry and 'dhuan gosht'were really popular. Gosh I so badly want to see my mom and stuff myself with all these comfort foods!

Actually Mustansar's morning shows was used to be fun and informative unlike morning shows these days. He was "chachoo" of all the kids and they had a very good segment of teaching drawing/sketching/water colors etc to kids
