Yeah, it distracts you. I went to the gym this morning in fact cuz i woke up and was feeling sad. I feel 10x better now and can use the day to function.

Mcpendo, for once I have to agree with him. The whole 5x namaz thing - but SUFI style - works really well. It doesn’t work if you just go through the motions cuz you have to. If you use that time to rather, meditate, and train your mind to think the way you want it to, then yeah, it works really well, and just like you get an addiction for good food, work-outs, you also develop an addiction for namaz. I used to be like that back in the day before I fell off the bandwagon, and it probably got me through times that were 10x worse than I am in now. I need to get back to the prayer rug, for sure.

I knew this kid in college, what an inspiration he was. He would do his namaz like clockwork, there was just no stopping him. And he was the most calm and gentle person I’ve known to date.
