^ lol u sound like me so i am not even gonna go through the wat-i-wanted, wat-i-became thing. The most recent one was criminal psychologist though and here i am with a BBA in managemnt and MIS, doing an internship and hunting for a good ass job that pays alot!

Oh and I am looking into having my own business but i gotta do loads n loads of research for that!

Joined IT job on March 1st 2004 as a **Software HelpDesk Support in Pharmaceutical software vendor company **in NY. There, not only I provided network and software related online support for the cleints, but occassionally had to visit them for hardware and software installations/issues if were not able to solve through remote connection. Part of duty involved was software training.. Gosh! I travelled whole NY and NJ in this job.. I also was a contact network admin for a pathology lab in NJ which was the client of this company where I used to go once or twice a week. 200 miles!!!

Finally, got rid of this job and started working as SAN (Storage Area Network) Admin through a consultant company for EMC.

First project, started on August 2006 and I was in boonies … sigh Jasper, INDIANA… company known as **Kimball International … **successfully finished the project in the middle of Oct 2006 and was placed in another project in Pittsburgh, PA … working as a SAN admin here… and seems like project is about to be finished in a week or so…

Process for new interviews have already been started and unfortunatley, it seems like that I will have to be on another short term project before moving to a long term… Consultance contract requires me to stay with the company for 18 months so have to bear it… two more projects and then I am out of it…

Allah knows, where I will end up but looking back at my past, I have come a LONG LONG way and I am hopefull that if He:swt: can get me through all this, He won’t :insha: let me down in future as well…

Everyone has some info. so i want to post some too.

School = Lahore (Cathedral + DPS)
College = Some prominent college in Lahore
University = MBA
Masters in Marketing (with minor thesis) from some uni in Melbourne. Australia

I really loved all of these institutes. Have spent really really good time.
It has been said that teachers only remember 2 kinds of students - those who are good and those who are bad. Averages are usually forgotton.
My teachers (from school, college and Uni) still remember me so am from one of those categories. which one - well ;)

Experience:
Internship with a Marketing Research Company
Working as a Product Manager in a software company

I love what I do. Have learned a lot during my work experience.

I'm planning to do PHD InshaAllah. I'm then planning to go in teaching side in a university. I was offered admission in PHD when I completed my masters but I didn't take it at that time. Something that I regret now.

even if it was WTC the bldg, I would still not have an 'exciting' life because I stopped working for WTC years before 9/11, which was clear in my post. so your thinking was faulty to begin with mate ;)

Also working Full time as Program Analyst in Michigan.

I was in the Mall Road branch opposite to Lahore Court (i think, it is Lahore Court).
It is the main branch that has the church too.

Hello Guys
I have recently done MSc in Human Resource Management from Strathclyde University and have worked with Abbey and Wilson Sports as HR Assistant and HR Advisor respectively. Before that I have worked and studied in Lahore. I did MA Sociology with a distinction and a Gold Medal. I have worked for total 3 years in home country as lecturer in Lahore Grammar College, Research Officer in Punjab University and Public Relations Officer with an NGO.
If somebody want my help in sociology or human resource management, I am more then happy to hear you.

Anyways, a lot has changed since 2003.

I went on to do my Master of Business in ERP systems from Victoria University of Technology in Melbourne. Before my final semester, got offered a job as a consultant for a supply chain and business management consultancy. Been working there full time for about a year now. Already a few supply chain and logistics related projects under my belt and am currently working as an SAP consultant on an SAP APO and BW project for a client in the fashion industry so lots of cute chicks around :stuck_out_tongue:

Things are looking good and alhamdolillah i’m doing well. Still have a semester to go for my masters, which I have put on hold for now.
