Look here is a good advice for you i hope:
Talk to him before meeting him and tell him what is the problem and you don't want to disrespect him but its only that u dont feel comfortable with it andyou do it with no other man (shaking hands).
Believe me if this is blown out of propotion and its in the media (like this has happend many times in holland) you will be more discomfortable then just by shaking hands.
