Not like this… the correct wording is, “OYE, kon log ho tussi!”

Re: Interview series: Unplugged with ........ ALI_SYED

Question: Does the forum need more members actively participating or the current number is optimal and more people would make the place more messy?

Re: Interview series: Unplugged with ........ ALI_SYED

I think more members are needed. New members bring quality to the forum. I'd like to see more members from FATA, Baluchistan, rural Sindh and minorities on the forum.

Re: Interview series: Unplugged with … ALI_SYED

I think we had a Balochi once a while back :hmmm:

Do you think we can ever have the day where Military isn’t the main power in the country? Do you think it is essential that an institution like that keeps a check against the corrupt politicians?

Re: Interview series: Unplugged with … ALI_SYED

For that we need a politician like erdogan. If the politicians provide good governance and have people power on their back the generals will not be able to interfere even if they wanted to.

Re: Interview series: Unplugged with ........ ALI_SYED

You have been at gupshup for quiet some time ...and in pretty strong i would say management kinda positions...
where do you see gupshup as a forum or group in say 5 years..?

what is your opinion on some of the select members of gupshup .... you can select any 5-7 members of gupshup .. of your own liking and then tell what you think about them..

Re: Interview series: Unplugged with ........ ALI_SYED

How can present government improve the basic health facilities in rural areas?

Re: Interview series: Unplugged with ........ ALI_SYED

I think political will is needed. Rural and impoverished areas are the least of concern for the politicians, as they know that urban politics will win them seats and governments. Pay the doctors and health care staff better salaries to work in rural areas for a start.

Re: Interview series: Unplugged with ........ ALI_SYED

I think Gupshup will grow further in the times to come. It has been a platform which has tried to provide as much level playing field to different groups of people within the country. I think the role this board has played has been largely positive. Discussions which is needed between various ethnicities and sects within the country. I think picking and choosing members is a difficult thing, at the end of the day this is cyber world and we cant really judge the other through the laptop screen. In any case I have learnt a lot from Muqawwee, Silaaj, kakaballi, yazdi, AP and others.
