I will be talking to these gentlemen for our TV show and newspaper in a few weeks and would appreciate any questions, history or interesting facts that you can give which I can use during the conversation.
Thanks for the help last time for Junaid, Hadiqa and Fakhr questions.
I may also be talking to Lucky Ali and some other performers but the two named above are the prime ones.
Fraudia saheb, I have a question for you. I remember you once in a post specifically accusing Junaid Jamshed of drinking alochol. I am pretty sure it was you, if I am on mistaken. Well jab aap nay Junaid kay saath "off the record interview" kiya did you ask him about this thing you accused him off or yaah aap nay khaam khwaah afwaah urayee thee. As I have known Junaid for a while now ands I could expect that thing from anyone but not from Junaid...
ali beta, I did not interview Junaid formally so not enough material to publish it as an interview. I interviewed Fakhr for a Tv show and Hadiqa and fakhr for the newspaper, although I ams o behind that they are not done yet.
As far as my conversation with Junaid, the alcohol issue did not come up. And as far as what I wrote then was based on reports by people who have known him and played with him..lets leave it at that.
As far as Nirma goes, I doubt I will be talking to her except just chit chat.
Well Janaab then I must add too that I have known Junaid since 1984 too and never I have heard from any of his aquaintances that he had ever been seen or heard of consuming alcohol.
These are just a bunch of rumours and please don't spread rumours as you are in a postion being so influential on this site that you can 'cause a negative image of Junaid to the people visiting this web site and other people you talk to about this issue.
alibeta I posted something that people who have worked with him said. It is upto the readers here to decide whether its credible to them and whether he drinks or does not drink means anything to him.
I had also clarified at that point that not only did I not see him doing it, but it was reported by someone. Seems like you are the only one who remembered that it was ever said
Alibeta, to add to that I guess that discussion it semed like I pesonally believed that he drank. I am usually pretty good to put things in perspective i.e. what i kow personally vs what I know to be true vs what has been said and is not confirmed/credible.
Yes Fraudia yaar you are right. that sure did seem like that you are sure that he drank.
Yaar i apologize but see the thing is I am a Die Hard JJ fan, I remember that specifically, actually I usually remember all posts about JJ. Especailly I dunno it didnt seem like this accusation could have come from you.
On the other hand there many singers like Ali Azmat, Ali Haider, Ata Ullah eesa Khailwi and the Late Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan I have seen drink personally and its there own business. They know what is good for there "akhirat" and there image, its just something I could not see JJ doing. But once again I was just playing with you, I just thought I would tease you a little.
anyways, any insights, questions, comments on these performers will be appreciated. also if you have anything for Nirma and Lucky Ali do let me know although we probably wont interview them for the show or the paper, but just for general chitchat..and who knows..we may wind up interviewing them after all.

What show do you do .. and where ??
Hey one more thing
These things are hard to explain
For some it seems strange... to swallow
The frontier of our minds
Is the last place we find
But maybe the first place we should go
Nirma… hmmm.. Actually I have a request – plz ask her to quit films and if she absolutely have to Shalwar Qameez looks much better on her then skirts and jeans
Ok so I have a question or more as well, how come she gets good characters in dramas, good story lines and lot of room for performance, while in movies, she’s given ehhh lame characters and her dresses stink, her lines are bad, for not to talk about her heros. She’s good in dramas and on stage; she should stick with that.
For some wired reason I’m interested in her education
Rooster we are shooting pilot shows for a major player right now. I write for a Number of US based Pakistani newspapers.
We actually also have 2 US based dramas in the works with scripts completed but have delayed production since winter is too close and shooting outdoors will be a pain. One show is few long episodes, more serious in tone, other is more episodes but shorter and is of a comedy nature.
Once we start them next year, two guppies, myself and Eros will be involved in it unless he has changed his mind now.
Another show is called Jeevay Pakistan on radio and TV, and I may be doing small segments there off and on for these shows or for events such as the visit of Lod Nazir or the upcoming dinner with Republican Congressmen and possibly George W Bush.

Cool man … let me know if you need any help .. I managed/worked with (and still do in little capacity .. since we/OPRE have not done any thing in recent months) OPRE , I don’t know if you have heard of em (based out of Houston) .. they did few shows around the states couple of them with Junoon … Momo (one of the OPRE member) and few guys did a movie .. kind of a small project with the help of gora dudes … but the movie never saw the day of light … let me know if you need help in any capacity . i.e. putting soundtrack for the shows .. I might be able to hook you up with some of the guys …
You were with Opre? I knew of this guy from Oklahoma that was with Opre, I was friendsw with some ppl in his family. I think his name was Raheel but not sure. If you were in Houston than you probably also know Faisal Afzaal who used to organize all the concerts etc via Extreme Entertainment, and then Pakistani George Michael..Farooq Hameed.
Dude, lets hook up sometime, we are in the same city and all. I would be interested in seeing what you guys did etc as well. We have technical support of guys who did production work at PTV as well as former PTV camera ppl and musucians etc. I think you will enjoy meeting these people as well.

My bro is at A&M right now.
I dont have Opre's album.
Paki George Michael..ahah he just looks like him sometimes. I dont think he released an album. I have been out of touch with Faisal for ages. I would say it has been over a year since I last spoke with him. I think it was summer of 99 when I was in touch with him last.
