Interview on Capital Talk

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

Not only that...

If there are 1,500 dead bodies in that Mosque, do you have any idea of the smell that would emanate from that place

Lots of delegations went inside the mosque, and you mean to tell me that they didn't see the dead bodies or smell the oder of 1,500 decaying corpses?

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

The fact that they are lying is 'the point', sarkar (at least for this particular thread). Hence zero credibility!
As for the excessive force, the militants were given enough time to surrender or negotiate. This kind of ghunda gardi should not be encouraged or tolerated whether it is in the name of religion or land. They brought it upon themselves imo...aap kay khiyal mein government chumiaN laitay howay bahir lay kur aati?

p.s. Pir saab, I never thought I would see the day when I'd impress you. :-)

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

Now I'm beginning to wonder what the "l" in tariq*l*khan stands for??

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

L stands for my father's fist name:) . You were saying ...

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

dude your memory is very short, i had already been impressed by you when you were using your previous nick

PS: and no it had nothing to do with the shirtless picture :D

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

^the one with the black Towel..

Oh I remember NaikLarki’s comments too :rotfl:

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

formur this reply, i getting the impression that a non-army personnal have called Mullah to come out...

1) Again it won't make any sense, as far as iam concerned if a sensible person is somehow caught in this kind of situation then he will not talk to the person who have no POWER in hand ( or lets say "lacks negotiation powers")... because that is the only case when one will ask a person to hide from the guards and come out, and talk... or if the "talk" was only one-to-one with that person then they could have chated on Telephone itself.

2) But if have done something wrong and i see no way out of it, then "dobtay ko tinkay ka sahara" kind of scenario is created then i'll try my luck with anyone and in anyway...

to me 2nd scenario is the most likely situation...

btw, how did Mullah Ghazi was able to get the burqa of his size??

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

Ghazi Aziz doesnt seem like a very large man...

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

ya but if you compare his frame to the girls

then he appears out of the ordinary

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

Is this a football game? I refuse to "take sides" over the death of so many people. Ridiculous.

The govt. absolutely did a horrible job during the whole lal masjid crisis. Musharraf should NOT have pardoned Ghazi in 2004 when his car was nabbed with ammo in it. And even if give the govt. some leeway in that, why were the intelligence agencies sleeping while all this ammo got into the lal masjid? What action has been taken against the ISI? So many people died..heck forget civilians, so many soldiers died. Who is responsible? Ghazi Rasheed? Don't think so.

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

angels..

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

Fraudia bhai, we need to fix responsibility. Ghazi was an affect. Not the cause. There was either a severe break down of intelligence or it was a deliberate turning a blind eye. Why does no one talk about that?

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

talk about it

as far as cause and effect goes, both have to be fixed, cant just fix one and expect the other to take care of itself

lastly if we are going to discuss it in terms of turning blind eye or breakdown of intelligence lets do it comprehensively, people tend to get selective amnesia, as if johnny goodboy ghazi turned into a radical on Oct 12, 1999.

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

post 9/11 is a different world. I don't think anyone even knew about these guys before 2002 or 03 when they issued that fatwa against soldiers.

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

bhai jan lets not get emotional and defensive, you have all the freedom to lash /blash/splash at previous rulers/dictators :p

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

It's very easy to point fingers at the govt. What would you have done? Acting like Talat Hussain is not the answer. You know how Patriotic Pakistanis feel about him. :D

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

No, I don't. Why don't u tell me? Why don't u also tell me what the benchmark of being a patriotic pakistani is. Moreover, where r these patriotic Pakistanis? I can't find many in Islamabad. Talat's show is one of the more popular talk shows in Pak. So obviously all those who watchy must be traitors as well.

As for what I would've done. It's simple. I would not have pardoned Ghazi in '04. And kept a tab on Lal mosque afterwards. Prevention is better than cure.

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

You can't answer a question with a question. It means that you are dodging my original question because you don't have an answer for it.

Quit playing games and answer my original question.

Re: Interview on Capital Talk

LOL, exactly

Anybody who doesn't support Mush's corrupt and blood thirsty rule is a traitor

Typical dictator thinking
