Umama, saying no arms at all in the mosque/jamia, she contradicted the statements of her very own 'leader/teacher/chief' given on media (30 militants, 14 kks). She knows how to sensationalize/emotionalize a story. She was brainwashed on how it is "right" of population to protest, it is right to protest but not by kidnapping anyone.
Samina kept crying about lawlessness and upperhandedness of these Lal masjid fanatics but in the very same scenario she forgot to mention the lawlessness of other higher-up criminals of the society some of whom were directly involved in flaming (or not containing) of the situation.
Asma Jahangir thought she was being cool by being anti-government but totally forgot about the umpteen chances given to the people in Lal masjid/Jamia Hafsa for surrender... how else in the world would Maulana Burqa would've managed to come out?
Javed Qureshi though well responded but still kept defending the delay in controlling these elements, yeah he was not incharge of crime situation of the city, probably host should've brought a better candidate responsible for law and order as well as Ejazul Haq.

It is obvious that one of them was just repeating a prepared statement she had memorized. Hiding her face must have made it easier to act. The younger one just seemed confused and brainwashed. Both showed signs of Stockholm syndrome.

well this conclusion i have drawn from their very own words some facts like surrender of Ume-e-Hassan ( or what ever her name is) with only few students and now claiming that there were over 3000 students in the mosque... ( why she never brought them out)
then despite the several apeals of wife of Mr. A.S. Edhi, late Molana never handed over the students, nor did he ordered them to leave the war-ground, yet these girls were talking about "chain of command"
the other molana who has received many BASHARATS, was caught while running in Burqa, may be the other ghazi would have tried the same... how can a religious leader like him, or say scholar like him can live son many innocent lives behind and agrees to run?

Simple fact that the the person who called wanted it to keep secret and hidden from army that was around the Lal Masjid. He was told this way he wont be caught since they are not searching women that come out of the Masjid. Simple as that. Now many people have accepted that this has happened. There is no way he was running.

Holiding a library is not a crime big enough to do an armed raid on them.
This was not fair that you put two female students, one of them hardly a teenage, in front of a Federal minister/Politician/General and then try to figure out that who was the better speaker.

What were people expecting those two girls to talk about, world politics, Bush-Musharraf conspiracy, war against terrorism? We should keep things in perspective. They were invited to talk about what they saw inside Lal mosque and that is what they said. as I have stated before, a bank robbery is not a crime punishable by death but when the perps hold people hostage and/or refuse to give themselves up and want a free pass and then attack the law enforcement authorities who are trying to apprehend them, then force is needed to apprehend them and they may get shot in the process.
regardless the pint was that these clwns talk a lot about law and haq and batil, but have excuses for all their actions, taking over a library, taking cops as hostages, etc etc.
