I think 99.9 % people exaggerate their experience and achievements to some extent when they go for job interviews..

That I personally completed over 200-250 tax returns.
This year, I can truthfully (no exaggeration) say that # is more than 5 times that amount. :D

I have over eight years of experience in IT and ITES industries. You are right that interviewees exaggerate about their skills but its not a right statistics. This trend is more common in the fresh graduates who tend to get desperate to find a job.
