cuz according to some people internships are a waste of time because they(the companies) “use you”
They are absolutely worth it. They give you experience as well as a feel for your career path and work life. Besides what else would you be doing during that time?

As hmcq said they give you experience, practical feel of the field you are in and apart from that at times even a job. Some of my friends joined the same companies there did their internship. The companies were really impressed by them and so they asked them to join them once they had finished their studies. So I would suggest that you choose organizations for internship that you would want to join once you finish collage.
u shud really do an internship chorni if u get the chance :)
the work experience in a proper office environment teaches u a lot, and is a big plus when u apply for jobs later
plus if u do a good job then they might even hire u after u graduate
doesnt matter if u dont get a hot internship, just do whatever comes ur way and if its too boring then u can just do it for three weeks or a month and do apni marzi ka job for the rest of the summer break...
